QUICK Try On: "Angie" Top + Trouser Jeans!

WINNERS!

1. Found the right bra, and the one-shoulder Reiss "Angie" Top that I've been thinking of for over a year. It's gorgeous! The most alluring item in my wardrobe, and I'm enjoying it!

2. Finally found dressy trousers jeans from Elie Tahari after a two year search. They are  PERFECT, and exactly what I was looking for! Sublime quality, dark denim, dressy, polished. They need a good hack, though. The model looks like she'e wearing a different pair of pants!

https://www.elietahari.com/col.....p202-denim

The trouser jeans have a blazer to match, and I might get that too....maaaaaaybe.........

3. It's cooled down in Seattle, and I could bust out my blue NAS Reiss top today. The cut-outs are genius-ly positioned because I can wear my regular bra and camisole with the top, and you can't see their straps!

Thank you Reiss for making exceptional quality and wearable items that showcase some skin :)

4. Had a few layers cut back into my hair to give it some shape while it grows out to beyond my chin. The awkward stage is thankfully OVER.

Plan to do many outfit posts once my broken toe is heeled. Three more weeks.

Thanks for looking! xo

The Yorkie Jumper Arrived!

It came in blue and red. Red looked more "me" :)

Excuse the very bad dark and grey light, but here it is, thrown on with the jeans and pearls I'm wearing today to make sure it fits okay. Slouchier and longer than I usually wear, but I'm enamoured. The Yorkie looks a bit like both Sam and Jo, so I'm very emotional about it!

Thank you EVERYONE who was supportive on Bijou's thread:

https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....-for-angie

I don't care if I look juvenile at age 51. I LOVE YORKIES, and am proud to wear such an incredible creature on my jumper. It's authentic and I am 100% at ease. Greg gave it the big thumbs up too! Happy as a clam.

I'm going to dress it up with a pile of pearls and a dressier support act  too!

BR Corduroy Pants: Quick Try-On

They are WONDERFUL. Soft, relaxed, comfy, substantial, on trend, and a good fit. Rise not too high. These are my regular size and they fit perfectly. Come in Talls and Petites.

VERY bad light now. Dark in our bedroom. Extremely wet, grey and gloomy here in Seattle. Rained on hair today too. Such is life around here!  But love these new BR cords! Not styled, but will wear Winter-White-Out for sure.

And threw on the start of my Horsey Capsule......just for fun :)

Grab those cords while they are on sale!

Quick Pic of BR Hoodie

…….since there was a lot of fondness for it today. Here it is in the blue, and I’m cooking in it at the moment! Very polished, neat and tidy. A chic hoodie to my eye. LOVE it! It layers very well.

Have the cream too. Washed on the delicates cycle in the machine with perfect results, so far.

Growing my hair.....

I always wear hoodies with pearls. And still on staycation…so see you next week :)

Classic Light Blue Darlings

I wasn’t planning on buying any shoes this year - I’m very set in my ways with footwear!

Until I unexpectedly found these Cole Haan’s.....

They fit my very low volume feet perfectly with an extra insole. And match my old light blue Furla. They don't look like a perfect match in Finds, but they are. Pics are more accurate. MAGIC!

To my eye, classic and pretty. Very comfy and neat on the feet. Will work with much of what I wear in Spring and Summer.

I looked for this type of bag and shoe match 3 years ago when I got the bag....nothing. All good things come to those who wait ;)

Waving at my light blue shoe sisters! Tanya, Janet, bonnie, JAileen, LisaP....

My CUSTOM Hi-Tops!

A super cute client and friend told me that I could create custom Converse hi-tops, so I did just that!

Here's the link:

https://www.converse.com/shop/custom-womens-shoes

I chose:

  • BLUSH leather (not canvas) - and no colourblocking
  • crisp white soles sans platform
  • no stripes
  • GOLD eyelets
  • white laces
  • "youlookfab" embroidery :)

I couldn't add the fleece lining I love so much, but that's okay. I added cushioning insoles.

I've had these for three weeks and waited to bust them out today so that I had something to look forward to. They are not as chunky and long in person. That's the camera angle and my selfies doing it's not so fab thing.

COMPLEMENT: tonal with my blush and white bags, and blush scarf.

They are an AMAZING new wardrobe essential! Excellent quality. Playful, pretty, polished, and practical. It's awfully fun to wear them. Iconic classic with a personal touch!

Thanks for looking. xo

FAB Checked Italian Wool Pants for $85 (Pics)

I LOVE wearing dressy plaid and checked pants. They're a whole lot more comfortable than jeans, and give me great joy :)

These came today... and I haven't styled them, but decided to keep them on with the jumper I had on already because they are sublime! I cut the tags off in 2 minutes. Perfect fit (although I might need to take in the waist a little), crease-resistant, FULLY LINED, refined, comfy and luxurious. I can do yoga in them.

They are NOT a poly-viscose-elastane blend like the description says. It's a mistake. They are 96% stretch Italian wool and 4% spandex.

The honey brown check is darker in person and quite earthy, but the blue in the check makes them very versatile for my style.

These are everyday pants for me and signature to my style, so I've ordered the pink too. The honey brown cost a discounted $85 and the pink $69 on Nordstrom's flash sale last week. Every so often, J.Crew hits it out of the ball park for me....and this was how this year.

New pink suede boots are just to show you! Not styled, but work with the pants.

Life in Seattle is still very restrictive. More COVID restrictions put back into place this week. Partial lockdown, although the county in which I live has been doing well. Our governor is fab and very cautious. We are good, working from home, making the best of everything, and staying safe.

Onward we go! xo
