FINALLY: New Wardrobe! (Pics)

After living in a rental for 14 months, we FINALLY moved back into our remodeled loft. To say we're happy to be back home in an understatement.

I now have a pukka custom-made walk in wardrobe that I share with hubs Greg. Greg designed the wardrobe with my input. It's light, has a view, and we can see EVERYTHING. It's our dream wardrobe in every sense. Not too big, stunning quality, and beautifully practical.

There are special shelves for my 25 bags!!!

Belt rack for belt storage will be hung this week.

In this walk in wardrobe, I have all the hanging space, most of the shelves, and some of the drawers. Greg also has drawers and hanging space in another cabinet we had built in the bedroom. I pop my undies, sleepwear, and loungewear into that cabinet. And my snow boots are in Greg's shoe closet.

The boxes are home to my pearl pieces. Each box was bought in a country on our travels.

We keep our coats in a coat closet by the door, which I shared here:

This is EVERYTHING. No holding zones, no swapping out of seasons, no storage under the bed, in a cage, and the like. When you live in a loft you have limited space to begin with and you have to make it work. It's compact living, which we enjoy.

VERY HAPPY!!! :)

Thanks for looking. xo

New Coat Closet

We finally have a custom created entry way cabinet. Half of it is for outerwear. The other half for other things.

This is ALL our outerwear. No holding zones or swapping out seasons. You need a lot of outerwear when you live in Seattle! Every item gets a workout at some point.

Guess which side is mine ;)

My jackets hang in the regular walk-in-wardrobe upstairs next to the bedroom.

Last Day With Inge at the Sculpture Park

We took Inge back to the airport today. (Read mascara running). The month she spent here with us in Seattle was absolutely MAGICAL to say the least. We did SO MUCH fun stuff together, and the time flew by. Inge was a delightful house guest and we miss her already.

We went to the Seattle Sculpture Park yesterday for a photography lesson, and Greg snapped these great shots along the way.

Inge is family, and we adore her. Soon, we will be planning our next reunion. xo
