Classic Light Blue Darlings

I wasn’t planning on buying any shoes this year - I’m very set in my ways with footwear!

Until I unexpectedly found these Cole Haan’s.....

They fit my very low volume feet perfectly with an extra insole. And match my old light blue Furla. They don't look like a perfect match in Finds, but they are. Pics are more accurate. MAGIC!

To my eye, classic and pretty. Very comfy and neat on the feet. Will work with much of what I wear in Spring and Summer.

I looked for this type of bag and shoe match 3 years ago when I got the bag....nothing. All good things come to those who wait ;)

    Glad your bag didn't meet an untimely end before you found your shoes! Did you find your shoes IRL or did you cross your fingers and order online? Online colors can be so misleading and inaccurate!

    DonnaF, crossed fingers. Lucky! My Furla looks new, and is frequently used.  KILLER quality.

    Oh, that will be pretty together. And Cole Haan wears like iron for me, so you should be able to enjoy this combination for a while.

    Angie, yes, I have flats, sandals, booties and sneakers that go with my light blue Furla.  Mine don’t match as perfectly as your do, though.  The flats are Seychelles, with a scalloped edge.

    Your new flats are a wonderful match. I've found that my light blue sneakers are very versatile and am thinking that I may need light blue sandals.

    Jonesy, soothing and yummy, right? I love wearing light blue with white, citron, red, and other blues. 

    cat2, I hope so. I am hard on shoes and walk everywhere, most of the time. Urban Seattle life. They wear down faster.

    Angie: I switched to Cole Haan pumps and wedges when DC streets were ruining my higher end shoes. Hopefully you will have the same experience on Seattle streets that I did of remarkable resilience.

    They were meant to be! And look how beautifully they fit your feet! I recently found the structured light blue bag I have been waiting for - it is a cousin to your Furla. Perhaps I will find your shoes' cousin too!

    Congrats from another fellow matchy-complement club member! :-D Those look like such a perfect fit on your feet and of course the color is excellent.

    I received a pair of pale blue and silver sandals I ordered to try. They are much more comfortable than a black and silver pair that came in the same shipment, but I need to evaluate their usefulness and test them around the house to see if I really need them. The color is appealing to me!

    These are special shoes. The elegant shape and compelling color make them sort of quiet standouts, if that makes sense. May you walk many happy miles in them.

    Angie, here are my light blue shoes.  They aren’t perfect matches (like yours), but they aren’t bad.  I think got the boots last year, and haven’t worn them.  I hardly wore anything but slippers last year.  :(

    The boots are Kork-Ease.  I don’t know if they make them in this color anymore.  They have a nice low heel.

    Hmm, Stuart Weitzman has the Dree espadrille in periwinkle, should anyone be looking for pale blue espadrilles for summer. Their shoes are made in Spain, so good espadrilles.

    Angie, funny about those sandals — I tried them on around the house yesterday and was a little excited about them... until I walked off the carpet and onto tile or hardwood floor. The soles are SUPER squeaky on the floor! So bad that one of the dogs came running to see what was up — I think he thought it was a squeaky toy. LOL
