So cute! Love #3-4 as perfect Valentine's Day outfit!
Everything works and looks fresh on you - Master class!

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Slim Cat, thank you for your always kind and complimentary comments. You are so lovely! :)

  • JAileen replied 2 months ago

I love this column of neutral on you, then BAM!  RED JACKET!

  • Suz replied 2 months ago

OOoh, I love this on you! So cute with the red specs and coat -- and wow, you are a walking advertisement for the brilliance of light neutrals on a lighter-haired, lighter complected human. A delightful Valentine's outfit!

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

JAileen, you made me laugh! Thank you! And BAM! Red specs too ;)

Suz, thanks for the kind words! I LOVE light neutrals, so good to know - and I'm blushing....

  • Mirjana replied 2 months ago

Wow, my favorite Trends and Classics, wonderful outfits! As Slim Cat said " Master class! Red is beautiful on you and my favorite is #4, a great Valentine's outfit.

  • Inge replied 2 months ago

You are wearing these neutrals so well, Angie, they look amazing with your darker blonde hair. The booties are such a unique "coffee with milk" colour, and the shine adds immediate polish.
And of course you have stunning jackets, footwear, belts and bags to go with everything! (Love the red specs with your red jacket so much!)

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

    Thanks, Mirjana! You're a sweetheart.

Inge, YES to the versatility of my darker hair. Never thought I'd like it this much. Always learning, and style is full of surprises :) Thanks for the sweet words, my sweet friend. xo

    Team Cafe Au Lait Booties!

Team Red is a Neutral ;)

  • Erin replied 2 months ago

Absolutely fabulous, Angie! Your hair looks fantastic too! Happy Valentine’s Day!

  • ChristelJ replied 2 months ago

I was also thinking about how amazing your hair looks with these light neutrals. And the outfits combine casual ease with dressy details in a truly wonderful way. I’m very taken by that smart pleather jacket, too.

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Erin, thanks for the sweet words and hair love!

ChristalJ, thanks for hair colour love, and your usual sweet compliments. Much appreciated! That pleather jacket looks good with our Everlane barrel jeans too ;)

  • Irina replied 2 months ago

Fab outfits, both versions are great. Love your hair, it looks so healthy, full and in unique color. Fantastic!
I would consider your red jacket a classic piece but boots are trendy to my eye :)

  • Star replied 2 months ago

Looking lovely. Is the red lippie balm? Such a fab match and not too heavy.

  • Brooklyn replied 2 months ago

Oooh, I’m loving the combination of ecru and taupe. It suits you beautifully. I’ve always liked taupe. I hope more becomes available.

  • Helena replied 2 months ago

    Bea-U-tiful!

  • harmonica replied 2 months ago

I love the pops of red with the light neutrals! You actually compliment your surroundings (floor, walls and picture) the perfectly.

  • Ket replied 2 months ago

You're flirty, fresh, and FFUUUNNN!! :D I adore your red coat! Nod to the 60s and the red is just too perfect! It feels like watermelon and cherry had a baby. XO

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Irina, maybe oversized aviators are classics having an on trend moment ;) And thanks for the hair love! I am FINALLY loving my longer hair and the colour! It took 2 years. Interesting boot thoughts!

Brooklyn and Helena, thank you! I think you both wear taupe and tan too? I like taupes and tans with shades of white :)

Star, yes! It's one of these "almost lipsticks" I wear. Tinted lip balms. Very soft. I don't wear real lipstick anymore. Thanks for the kind words!

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

haromonica, thank you! Red is yummy, isn't it? I know you wear red too. Our paintings are bright, so I'm bound to match them  ;)

Ket, you're a honey! Always gracious and sweet comments. Thank you! The watermelon and cherry sibling made me smile.

  • Lee replied 2 months ago

I think the tonal and the red pop is outta sight! This is a great example of mixing up new/old/color/neutral/trendy/classic.

You look joyful and adorable in your red specs :) and poses, everything is great!

  • Bonnie replied 2 months ago

I love seeing what you are wearing these days and these combos are great. Classics and trends in neutrals and pops of color work well on you and are perfect for Valentines Day.  I'm wearing a bright red cardigan over a black dress, tights, and black chucks.

  • Runcarla replied 2 months ago

Beautiful!  Not sure about doing a copy cat since mucky snow is on the way.

Your last outfit https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....ater-dress inspired me to put green and gold together.  I didn’t get a photo,  but wore the Finds below.

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Lee, that's high praise, thank you! I'm blushing, and I think you wear red too :)

bonnie, lovely compliments! Thank you. Your Valentine's outfit sounds festive and fab.

Carla, NICE. Humbled to have inspired you! Which shoes?

  • Lee replied 2 months ago

Aw, I do indeed and ty for remembering
    :) and Happy Valentine’s Day!

  • Debbie replied 2 months ago

I am loving these outfits. I wish the pants weren’t sold out.

    you look radiant.

  • Zaeobi replied 2 months ago

Perfect V-day look! Just a dash of red with your creamy light neutrals :)

As a (slight) aside, are you wearing milk tea coloured thick socks with the slipper flats? That's my favourite 'faux nude' hack in winter (when bare ankles sounds way too cold to be practical)!

  • Jaime replied 2 months ago

Gorgeous! And as you know my favorite is when you can pull out older pieces, like the jacket and leopard that happen to be trending. But mostly gorgeous and totally you Angie!

  • Janet replied 2 months ago

Fab! You always look terrific, but wow that column of light tones looks so perfect on you.

  • Laura replied 2 months ago

Awesome mixing! Love the leopard touches and the trendy bottoms combined with old favorites like your “A” initial necklace. Inspiring!

  • unfrumped replied 2 months ago

    Angie, Plonk!

Love the cream outfit. Something about the proportions and just enough ease in the fit, and good fabrics, makes you look very grownup and sophisticated yet very youthful. Not sure exactly what is the magic recipe. I do love your bright colors and color mixing, but observe that in the soft neutrals, it’s a bit easier to see the “ you” .

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Thanks for the kind words, everyone :)

Lee, hope you had a lovely Valentine’s Day!

Debbie, I can see you in my ecru jeans! Everlane has something similar so check there.

Zaeobi, well spotted! Milk Tea knee-highs, so not quite socks :)

Jaime and Laura, LOVE remixing old with new, like you! Blushing at the compliments.

Janet, good to know, since I love light neutrals right back!

Unfrumped, laughing at your plonk! Thanks for the astute analysis. Very interesting :)

  • Val replied 2 months ago

    Trendy energy and classic gracefulness.

  • Runcarla replied 2 months ago

Angie - I was out and about, and played Bridge later, so a nicer coat and black accessories.  Thanks for opening my eyes to in interesting colour combination that works very well for me.

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Val, such a lovely description! Thanks :)

Carla, sounds like a winning outfit! Yay! Fab to have inspired it.

  • replied 2 months ago

Love the light neutrals on you, especially with the leopard bits! Hair looking fab too!

  • Lee replied 2 months ago

    I did, thank you :)
Life has been fairly stressed for a bit and it was a very nice respite that included yummy food I didn’t have to cook!

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Suntiger, thank you! You've been very supportive of my hair evolution over the last two years, and it did not go unnoticed ;)

Lee, glad to hear it! May your stressful days be minimized.

  • Jonesy replied 2 months ago

Fabulous! Really beautiful looks--so chic and yet wearable. This oversized silhouette suits you very well, and the fit on everything is immaculate (in fact, per your usual style, everything looks immaculate!).

After many, many years of seeing you sport all-white or all-cream outfits, I have finally arrived and am now wearing lots more cream, even in the winter :). I have a cream denim skirt that I've worn a ton this fall and winter. It just took maybe a decade for me to come around, lol.

  • Lee replied 2 months ago

    Ty. <3<3

  • Column replied 2 months ago

LOVE these renditions; I think the boots are undersung heros!

  • lyn67 replied 2 months ago

Wow! A cream fabness with the perfect  accents for Valentines! BIG LOVE!!!

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Jonesy, that's high praise, thank you so much! I am pedantic about how things fit so it's wonderful that you noticed :)  And welcome to Team Cream! My toes are tickled. Never say never, and I bet gorgeous on you!

Column, thanks! Yes! They are fab boots. Great NAS purchase a few seasons ago.

Lyn67, you are fab and funny! Thank you.

  • Kyle replied 2 months ago

This is such a fresh and pretty look. I am really enjoying creamy outfits right now, and I love the way your boots and leopard accents elevate everything. Great hair!

  • Katerina replied 2 months ago

Such beautiful looks, Angie! You look always trendy and classic, it is such a fitting description. I really enjoyed the breakdown of the various components, very inspiring. I struggle with the trendy part and will try to mix in some trendy elements, although I love wearing’ “old” things…

  • Dee replied 2 months ago

Wavy bob looks awesome, love your trendy classic combos, like the barrel leg and its just the right amount of oversized in your top. Glad to see the red aviator jacket in action too, its so fab.

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Kyle, thanks for the kind analytical words and hair affection! Light neutrals complement blonde hair - which you know :)

Katerina, nice to see you again! I see a fab mix of trends with your classics - and thanks for the compliment!

Dee, you are so lovely! Appreciate your grace and kindness :)

  • Cee replied 2 months ago

Despite no Yorkie content, it was worth two thumbs up, a mic drop and a Margot.

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Cee, that's high praise, thank you :)

  • cat2 replied 2 months ago

Not sure how I missed this post before. Fun tonal looks!

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

    Thanks for chiming in, cat2

  • anchie replied 2 months ago

Looking great, especially like your light netral monochromatic outfit. Very inspirational. And hair is fantastic, it took me a while to get used to your new hair, but now is so you that I can’t imagine you with short hair again.

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Anchie, thanks for the hair affection! It's finally grown into a style I like, so there is that. Took TWO years! And go Team Light Neutrals ;)
