Matched My Surroundings (Pics)

I ran errands at our nearby outdoor mall today, which is stunning! (#1) Seattleites - go to U-Village soon. Great vibe. Took the full length pics in a furniture store. (#2 - #4).

Managed to park and get there before the crowds....but it was BUSY by the time I left. Go early.

LOVE my new NAS maxi navy coat! Workhorse wardrobe essential.

Fractured toe 3 months in, and on the mend. Could manage my super hero boots reasonably comfortably.

Hair is soft and very natural. No chemical treatment. No style really, despite a few non-descript layers. This is a quick blow dry. The front grows more slowly than the back. It has to grow four more inches. Patience is a virtue I am learning!

I'm big into wearing bold solid statements this year - sometimes I throw in some classic pattern like a dot, stripe, check, or floral.

My colour combinations guideline: "wear whatever makes me happy!" :)

I won't be around much till Monday. Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US. xo

That's great news about the foot, too. It takes so long to heal but you are getting there. The boots look fantastic.

Xtabay and CarolS, always creative and sweet.

Sarah, how NICE to see you chime in.

Kathie, Seattle misses you. And thankful to have healthy hair.

Suz, I can see you in the scarf and coat - and any of my navy items actually! ;) Good grief, the toe has been slow to heal. But finally, getting there.

  • Angie replied 3 years ago

LJP, thanks! Maybe you'll wear navy again - when you don't need to wear black to work anymore.

We've managed to dodge the snow in the city. It's full on snow an hour away though. Buckets of it dumped on the mountains a few days ago. Autumn has been beautiful here!

  • replied 3 years ago

Wow- I'm jealous you still have bright leaves :) Love that coat on you and glad you're on the mend! Fab all round!

  • lyn67 replied 3 years ago

Wow, what a gorgeous fall scenery and your outfit, longer hair and genuine smile so fabulous! This is my favorite way to dress, to match my surroundings/weather/places-and this is probably also why I cannot do your brights that way you are beautifully and professional doing it....as my surroundings are never that bright, I'm afrai!:-(.
    Happy Thanksgiving,  Angie&Greg (and all)!

  • ANewMindset replied 3 years ago

You are a stylish ray of sunshine!! I absolutely love this look!!

  • Janet replied 3 years ago

Lovely, Angie! I adore fall color and this looks so appealing. Glad you’re still getting fall foliage — I just returned home from southern Utah, where the cottonwoods are glorious at the moment, but the leaves are all gone at home.

That coat is stellar! And your hair is really coming along nicely. I confess I really love the natural color more than your former platinum, which was pretty too.

  • kellygirl replied 3 years ago

You couldn't look more beautiful in those colors. SO divine! Happy Thanksgiving, Angie!

  • JAileen replied 3 years ago

Gorgeous colors, on both the trees, and on you.

We had weirdly warm weather in October, and our trees never got the signal to drop their leaves.

  • Bonnie replied 3 years ago

You look fabulously festive for the holidays. Have a fun day and some restful time off.

WOW! So stunning! Lifted my spirits and reminded me of a favourite storybook about a talented tailor who eventually stands out by trying so hard to blend in :)

Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating!

You look vibrant and polished and happy! What a special look for a special person.

  • Eliza replied 3 years ago

Beautiful look in a place that beckons, Angie. How fun to see how your brights play together. Your hair is so pretty ; grow outs take patience and helps to have it take the journey with so much cooperation.

  • Sally replied 3 years ago

What a visual delight.  Its a real new take on Autumn instead of the usual muted colours, the bright red and orange go so well together.   Happy thanksgiving.

  • Dana replied 3 years ago

So cute! Angie, you always look so happy and brighten my day! Enjoy your time.

  • replied 3 years ago

I also envy your bright leaves.  I am trying to see the beauty of naked trees.  They look best when snowy or frosty at sunrise or sunset. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

  • citygirldc replied 3 years ago

You make me smile with all those beautiful colors. Happy belated Thanksgiving. XXXOOO, Naz

  • Angie replied 3 years ago

Thank you all SO much! Your kind words are good for the soul.

  • whidbeygirl replied 3 years ago

Love University Village! As you say, the vibe is so great. Since moving off the mainland I hadn't been in quite a few years but went recently to check out the Allbirds store and had a chance to shop around again. It was super busy then, even mid-week. And, as always your color choices are fabulous.

  • RobinF replied 3 years ago

Your hair is really getting long! Growing out is such a waiting game but it's looking great.

Love the outfit - that coat is gorgeous. And the pretty weather!

  • Inge replied 3 years ago

Seattle in Autumn is just so stunning!! And so are you and your outfit! Every single item is gorgeous, but I'm especially loving how you paired those trousers with the booties!

  • Angie replied 3 years ago

Thanks so much! Appreciate the kind words.

And yes - get to U-Village the next few weeks :)

  • ANewMindset replied 3 years ago

I am now on the lookout for a black with white polka dots scarf so that I can replicate the outerwear look with my black wool maxi coat! This is one of my all time favorite looks of yours. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Angie replied 3 years ago

I hope you find the scarf!

  • Debbie replied 3 years ago
