Recommend: Wit & Wisdoms, and the Audrey (Pics)

In case you're looking or interested :)

The Wit & Wisdom Pants come in four colours, and I have the navy:

I sized down for a better fit.

VERY COMFY, drapey, polished, have a fun self-panel tuxedo stripe, crease-resistant, are easy to launder, and full length on me.

The red is more eggplant than burgundy in person, so I returned them.

These are two WFH outfits. I wear these pants like others wear leggings, or joggers. Here, they are worn with OLD sweaters, VERY old belts, and at-home-only ECCO sneakers. The green is today's outfit. An extremely casual WFH day! I'll be running errands on foots, and walking doggies later.

I wear this type of trouser on long flights too. Much more comfy than jeans!

Also putting in a good word for Talbots "Audrey" patterned cashmere. I got the light blue floral, which is a great match with my specs. I'm wearing a petite size here since the fit is better, and I don't mind very short sleeves on this type of jumper. It's Modern Retro.

Hair is in a happy place almost two years in! Good length, natural colour, and mostly natural waves.

Jo makes everything better! :)

Thank you for the recommendations. I am tempted but I don’t really need the pants at this time.
Lovely photos of you and Jo.

Love that striped Boden sweater on you! Gorgeous. Love the one with Jo too.

  • MsMary replied 5 months ago

    Looking fab!!

Looks wonderful - love blue patterned sweater!
Of course Jo steals the spotlight - simply adorable  ;-) !

Thanks, everyone! Appreciate the kind words.

Slim cat, I can’t compete with stylish and chic tiny Jo :)

You look divine, and I want to give your puppy a few smooches too. I have two print Audrey sweaters, and I agree, they are the bomb. I forgive them their 3/4 sleeves, because the sweater is so light and drapey and the prints are so nice.

You look wonderful in your work from home outfits and it's so great that they are comfortable, too.  I just noticed that you and Jo have matching hair color. Both of you are beauties!!

Looks great! Do the Wit & Wisdom pants have a generous enough hem to let them out 1.5”? The inseam is a little short for me. Thanks.

  • Cardiff girl replied 5 months ago

Lovely photos,l particularly like the sweater specs combo.

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

    Thank you, Cardiff Girl

Roberta, YES! Dead right on the Audreys, and thanks for the validation on them. The patterns are delicious, and Jo smooches back :)

bonnie, how fun that Jo and I have matching hair. I can look as chic as she does!

Sea-Salt, I'm afraid there's not much of a hem on these pants. About an inch - if that.

I've been eyeing these pants for months!  Is there any give in the waist?

  • Barbara Diane replied 5 months ago

    Love!

  • rachylou replied 5 months ago

    Wow! Seriously good looking!

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

KMM, yes, a little give in the waist. Take your usual size if you want MORE give in the waist. I sized down for a snugger fit on the waist.

    Thanks, Rachy and Barbara Diane!

I absolutely love the length of these trousers on you. I looked at the length of these on line and it is far shorter than the 32 inseam I like. These will be a pass for me, but like how they fit on you, with a smaller size. Totally fun look.

    Hair is gorgeous!

  • Style Fan replied 5 months ago

I also noticed how great your hair is looking.  Gorgeous!  Both of the sweaters work so well with the pants.

  • kkards replied 5 months ago

Pants are fab! Love the relaxed but polished vibe.

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Thanks for the hair love Carla and Style Fan

kkards, I can see you wear these pants :)

mokum girl, they are about 30 inches on the inseam. On me, at the new shorter full length. 32 inches would have been what I wanted five years ago - with a break line! These don't have a break line, IYKWIM.

  • SarahD8 replied 5 months ago

Nice! So great when the old mixes perfectly with the new.

  • salt-sea replied 5 months ago

Thanks for the info on inseam & hem. I will keep looking for longer options.

  • Brooklyn replied 5 months ago

YLF! Love the floral jumper! They are so hard to find.

  • Jaime replied 5 months ago

I like the lower rise! The striped sweater and cheery bright colors are so right on you. And your hair was worth the wait.
Jo is clearly thinking Angie makes everything better and I agree!

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

    Thanks, everyone!

SarahD8, the seamless integration of new wardrobe items is a beautiful thing :)

Brooklyn, I know, right? Go Team Floral Jumper :)

Jaime, the mid-rise works well! Thanks for your always gracious thoughts.

    Star, Jo sends kisses back!

Suntiger, to you too! (Yes, my WFH looks are dressier than most office wear these days - especially here in very tech Seattle!)

    Thanks, RobinF!

What adorable matchiness between Jo's fur and your hair, Angie--you look so sweet in those picties together -you cannot hide real love!:-) Wow, these pants make your legs look even longer-and they will fit you fab for all the puposes you shared! Floral sweater is beautiful  and great match with your specs!

  • Cee replied 5 months ago

As always, Yorkie vibes win EVERYTHING !

  • Cee replied 5 months ago

...as do your strong sashay modelling skills !

  • Dana replied 5 months ago

Wow, Angie! Fab! Your WFH outfits put mine to shame! I'm curious what makes those pant so comfortable. I saw in another post you said they have SOME give in the waist, but are they also knit??

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Thanks, Cee! Jo amps up my style and completes me :)

Dana, no, not a knit. Woven! They have some stretch and are VERY soft and drapey. Like the best sweats! Crease-resistant too.
