Wi(w)W: BOSSILY Suited

Here is my new NAS Hugo Boss suit. Thanks to attentive Gryffin, I have the pants after three Nordies cancellations! I am grateful.

I have been waiting for this suit my whole life. It could not be MORE PERFECT. I absolutely LOVE everything about it!!! The fit, fabric, light neutral, pattern, weight, and silhouette are everything I want in a suit. Fluidly tailored, extremely comfortable, crease-resistant, and impeccable quality too.

I'll wear it in all sorts of ways - it's so versatile! - but these are the ways I want to wear it first. Light, trendy classic, soft, and simple.

I will just wear the suit - no occasion needed - just like I would wear dressy pants and a jacket....only these match! As long as I can comfortably walk and pick up our doggies, do errands on foot, and get on with my day, I am good to go. Remember that I live in a loft in the city and walk doggies several times a day in the city - not a dog park. That makes a difference.

Look #1 - dressiest with boots and shirt

Look #2 - classic with sweater and loafers

Look #3 - Sporty Luxe and relaxed with fashion sneakers

New cream NAS loafers and bag complement in action too.

VERY HIGH HAPPINESS-FACTOR :)

I will wear this suit for decades. Thanks for looking. xo

Wowzer Angie!#18 is to die for. :)

  • Stagiaire Fash replied 2 years ago

Wow, that is great on you!
Strange that the fit is so perfect—when my son looked at that brand, they pretty much told me not to bother, because they don’t make things for his slim, athletic build. You look nothing like my son, but are certainly slim & fit yourself. They must have a whole different approach to men’s and women’s wear.

  • Tanya replied 2 years ago

Stunning and worth waiting for.  What a treat!

Curious, what length definition are these pants?  Ankle or something else?

  • JAileen replied 2 years ago

I love it with the barrel bag.  And small terriers.  :)

  • N replied 2 years ago

Love them all, that suit was made for you. My favourite is the look with the comme des garcons shirt and trainers (sneakers). Great find!!

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

    Thank you, Notsaf and Carla!

SF, thank you, that's interesting. Hugo Boss has a slim mens fit and a regular fit, and the slim fit is my guess - could have worked for your son.

Tanya, thank you, and these are ankle covering, so FULL length on me. Ankle on the model.

  • Irina replied 2 years ago

Perfection, absolute perfection! You look amazing in this suit.
    Thank you for sharing, Angie!

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

JAileen, a big terrier virtual hug!

N, thank you, and yes - love my Commes des Garcon shirts.

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

    Irina, that's sweet, thank you.

  • slim cat replied 2 years ago

Fabulous in every way! There is something slightly androgynous in the fit and look of that great suit - very polished, versatile and harmonious with the color/style of your hair ( colored buttons echo it a little bit ;) ).
Love it especially #2/3  and #17.
The last pic is adorable - Sam is practically asking:" I'm still your favorite, right?!" ( after looking at pic#15 ).

  • CarolS replied 2 years ago

I don't have words for that much fabness. Wowza. It is perfect. As a gal whose feet have recently become super fussy, I'm always SO happy to see examples of fabulous, polished looks with sneakers. Wear it in good health, Angie!

  • Runcarla replied 2 years ago

@ SF - Hugo Boss is great for tall slim men!  It is one of DH’s regular ‘go to’s’ (6ft 2in 185 lb) and DS#2 (6ft 3in, 210 lb) and even sometimes DS#1 (6ft 4.5 in, 165 lb).  For super slim athletic types (broad shoulders, long arms, narrow waist) Nautica is a great line for men.

  • Preppy Pear replied 2 years ago

Wow. Just wow. I love it, especially with your new cream bag and loafers!

  • Jaime replied 2 years ago

What a natty suit Angie! The first picture of the full suit (#2) blew me away. Yes! That is how a suit is done! Combined with the structured CDG shirts you have blown through another layer of the style stratosphere. David Bowie with a touch of Greta Garbo - what could be better :) .

  • replied 2 years ago

    Wow boss indeed! Kx2!
    Hi doggos :)

  • DonnaF replied 2 years ago

You look great in all iterations. The light color seems to feminize the masculine cut.

Would you ever wear a belt with the pants?

  • Debbie replied 2 years ago

You look amazing. I love this suit in action. It was made for you!

  • Sal replied 2 years ago

Perfect Angie - what a great find.  I love all the versions on you.  Most stylish Doggie walker with the most stylish dogs....

  • Janet replied 2 years ago

Gorgeous suit and you look absolutely smashing in all versions! Amazing to find such a good fit and cut (even accounting for alterations). I have never had a suit that truly fit me.

  • nuancedream replied 2 years ago

BOSS lady!!! What a gorgeous suit, Angie. Hello Sam and Jo!!

  • Vildy replied 2 years ago

What we've all been waiting for.  :D   I love how your intuition was spot on.  This has smashing style and is the perfect suit for *you*.  Now that I see it on you I can't imagine any suit that would be more Just Right.
    Wear in abundant good health.

  • replied 2 years ago

Phenomenal! Great suit action :) The dressy, classic and sporty looks are all super. Props to your sidekicks.

  • rachylou replied 2 years ago

And wow I do I love it with the hit of yellow.

  • Bonnie replied 2 years ago

Perfect! So glad you got it.

  • replied 2 years ago

Just lovely . Couldn’t fit better or suit you more :)

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

Thank you all so much! I’m blushing!

Slim Cat, your thoughts are like Greg’s - uncanny. And Sam is top dog!

CarolS, I am all about comfortable shoes, and do not compromise. and Hope this encourages you to get a suit too!

Carla, Greg does really well with Hugo Boss. He is slim but not tall. Very good fits.

Preppy Pear, high five to my loafer sister!

Jaime, that is very high praise, AND you make me laugh :)

Bonnie, Debbie, Suntiger, Lisa P and Nuancedream, your words are kind and sweet.

Sal, the way to my heart is through my doggies, so your comment touched my heart.

Vildy, what a thoughtful, charming and nice way to put it!

DonnaF, I will wear belt from time to time - but not often. Agreed about the light colour.

Nikki, my sidekicks are my best!

Rachy, I fancy that pop of colour with you

Janet, pants suits are hard to fit. I got very lucky. The suit was meant to be.

  • Classically Casual replied 2 years ago

You need to frame #18…best doggies photo ever!   The suit of course is gorgeous too. Well done.

  • Karie replied 2 years ago

It’s beautiful! And that picture of Sam giving you a smooch is the best!

  • Joy replied 2 years ago

Love this suit on you! I like the cream compliment and the spark of the citron bag with the suit too.

  • chewyspaghetti replied 2 years ago

It looks like it was made for you, and so versatile too!

  • Firecracker (Sharan) replied 2 years ago

Super duper Boss! Wow, what a terrific suit for you, Angie. I love all three looks. Congrats on snagging it. Love your terrier accomplices, too.

  • AJ replied 2 years ago

    Love it!  Perfectly you!

  • Sally replied 2 years ago

Fabulous stylish suit. Did you mean you will only wear the pieces together or on occasion  wear the pants and jacket?

  • kellygirl replied 2 years ago

You are bossing that suit around! So fab in all iterations. Especially love that new
Barrel bag. That suit was made for you and I’m so happy that you were able to get it!

  • The Cat replied 2 years ago

Congratulations on finding this classic suit that suits you do well. Great styling, as always.

By the way, your current pretty hairstyle looks perfect for you.

  • Jessikams replied 2 years ago

    Fab!

  • RoseandJoan replied 2 years ago

You breathe life into this beautiful suit, it's not stuffy or formal in any way but you can somehow make a trouser suit and shirt look relaxed with ease.

Clearly Sam and Jo approve too.

  • Cardiff girl replied 2 years ago

Well you would be the best dressed dog Walker around here, lovely!

  • Brooklyn replied 2 years ago

Love it love it love it! You look amazing.

    Love the Coach bag too.

  • Jenni NZ replied 2 years ago

Angie, it’s gorgeous. Boss woman indeed.

  • Synne replied 2 years ago

Perfect! Love that you are wearing it right here and now, not waiting for the perfect occasion that may never come. Also love that this is gray! Gray is my new favourite color.

  • gryffin replied 2 years ago

Angie - SUBLIME!! Wow color is divine on you and the fit is perfection!! I love the suit with a white shirt buttoned to the top. That’s my favorite with the white booties and coach bag. Wowza!! Being a suit girl myself sending huge love!! I just bought a white tuxedo shirt for mine and been looking for the perfect white button down so I can do same. Honestly clothes don’t get better than this. In a 5 min fire drill where you can only grab a handful of pieces that’s what’s going to make the cut!! Enjoy it and have wonderful adventures wearing it!! Now you know Boss is the brand to keep an eye on!! Would you say boss runs TTS or slightly small?

  • kkards replied 2 years ago

Now this how to “Dress for Sucesses” as you’ve clearly impressed CEO Sam, and his second in command Jo.

  • ANewMindset replied 2 years ago

WOW. You look amazing. I could not love it more!!

  • gryffin replied 2 years ago

BTW have you noticed we both have a strong preference for our outfit colors to mirror our pups? Sam looks amazing with your suit. And I’m in schnauzer colors of black, white and gray. Now that I’ve let my hair go natural I’m really looking like my breed. Btw your pin would look awesome either on shirt at neckline or lapel. So fun!!

  • Staysfit replied 2 years ago

Angie, the Boss suit is a slam dunk winner!  Wow!  Every combination looks amazing on you!

I have a confession…..we are suit twins….thanks to Bijou who suggested I try it. :-)

Fantastic suit! I love it in every iteration--what a wonderful addition to your wardrobe! Huge heart eyes for the subtle pattern mix with the pinstriped blue and white button down :)! Jo and Sam are as adorable as ever.

  • Mirjana replied 2 years ago

OMG, fantastic suit! I love it in every combination, sooo beautiful on you. But my favorites are with white, that is you.

  • Murph11 replied 2 years ago

Brilliant, especially with the striped shirt! Could not be more perfect! Round of applause:-)

  • Mainelady replied 2 years ago

Yes, you are BOSS in your new suit! It does fit perfectly and every styling looks amazing. My faves are with the Yorkies…..biggest happiness factors!

  • ChristelJ replied 2 years ago

I've never seen a suit look so natural on anyone. You are as dapper and elegant as can be, but relaxed and able to move about so happily. Blows my mind, as I've always thought suits were formal. You look beautiful. Thanks for opening yet another door to style freedom by your example.

  • bj1111 replied 2 years ago

    so yummy

  • Kyle replied 2 years ago

This is why fashionistas talk so much about the importance of a perfect fit. It’s sublime. I just love the look with a white button down and boots. Fab on very level. What a gorgeous and classic outfit.

  • cat2 replied 2 years ago

Perfect! I am rooting for it to meet your light blue accessories as well.

  • Jenn replied 2 years ago

  • ZoeyGirl replied 2 years ago

I am so happy that this worked out so well for you! A reason to be joyful in a challenging season! Truly, so happy for you!

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

WOW! Thank you ALL for the awfully kind complements! The suit is one of those items that was meant to be, I guess.

Classically Casual, Karie, kkards, Firecracker, RoseandJoan, Jonesy and Mainelady, Sam and Jo send tail wags and down dogs to you!

Sally, I don't separate the suit. I always wear it together. The couple does not want to be apart!

Synne, the suit is sand! Much warmer than grey. I will leave grey wearing to you ;)

Gryffin, if it weren’t for you, I would not have the suit! THANK YOU again. I think Boss runs TTS, but others might think a little narrow. Depends which set of size ranges you compare it to, IYKWIM. I LOVE that you match your beautiful Schnauzers! Doesn’t get more stylish than that :) - and yes to the Yorkie pin!

ChristelJ and Kyle, you are gracious!

Jonesy, pattern mixing, just for you!

Staysfit! WOOHOO! Waving at my suit twin.

cat2, YES. Yummy with light blue. On my list to wear. With blush and white too.

The Cat, thanks for the hair compliment.

  • CocoLion replied 2 years ago

Years ago, when visiting Italy, I saw Italian women dressed like this to buy vegetables.  You will bring happiness to everyone around you when you go out like this.

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

Denise, this is now my new vegetable-buying outfit.

  • Katerina replied 2 years ago

Angie, it is PERFECT! So gorgeous on you. I have never seen anyone to wear sand as beautifully as you do. So happy for you.

And this is just how I would also love to wear my suits: “I will just wear the suit - no occasion needed - just like I would wear dressy pants and a jacket....only these match!” Your post really made my day!

  • gryffin replied 2 years ago

Angie & Staysfit - I was browsing Boss to see if there were any suits in my colorway.  Just wanted to make sure you saw the other coordinating pieces for your suit.  I personally would be all over the skirt.  Dresses are tricky but the baby has become it's own little capsule if it works.  There is also a knit blazer, not sure what aluminum is colorwise but it looks like it "goes" and skirt.  I've never regretted buying corrdinating pieces, but I understand sometimes more is just more.  But wanted to make sure you were both aware.

  • replied 2 years ago

Hey Angie, what a presence, I like the first photos where you wear the fully buttoned white shirt with this magnificent costume, you are very classy.

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

Katerina, my suit-sister! I know you understand how to simply "wear a suit and get on with life" - so BIG high five! As long as it's fluid, non-crease, and my feet are happy - it's a win.

Gryffin, yes and thank you! I saw the other Boss items. I don't wear pencil skirts or sheaths, but they are pretty :) - Look at the Boss site for your black suit, maybe.

    Bernard, thank you!

  • Laurie replied 2 years ago

I cannot add a single original thought or compliment, but ditto to every single one above! Look #1 is my favorite, and it was truly meant to be!

  • Suz replied 2 years ago

OMG --- this is sensational, Angie!! How could I be so late to this post? I absolutely adore it for you. It's fresh, light, brightening, easy, relaxed, crisp, classic, and contemporary all at once. I love every one of your styling options. Yay to Gryffin for helping you get the right size of trousers and whoo hoo!! to a brilliantly stylish fall!

  • Minaminu replied 2 years ago

super! this is a smart outfit, you look amazing and I can see plenty of outfits with those 2 pieces!

  • Staysfit replied 2 years ago

Thanks Gryffin, I had seen the sheath, but not the other pieces.  Unlike Angie, I do like sheath dresses and pencil skirts, so the sheath is on my radar.  The knit blazer is as well…..

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

Laurie and Minaminu, you are so nice!

Suz, thanks for the fab excitement :)

  • Dottie replied 2 years ago

Angie, you look gorgeous. That suit was made for you!

  • Bijou replied 2 years ago

Angie, I love this suit on you in all its combinations but add the matching terriers and you launched it into the stratosphere of K2Ks!

I'm thrilled that it worked for Staysfit as well.

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

Thank you, Dottie and Bijou. Your kind words are appreciated!

  • Jamie replied 2 years ago

Love this suit and the color on you!  I really like the neutral color of the fabric.  Which skin and hair coloring would this work best on?  It looks terrific with your blonde hair.

  • lyn67 replied 2 years ago

Cannot be better than yours here, Angie-a pant suit! I love it all ways but my fave is like you style it in nr 17---and loved to see Sam giving you a kiss-haha!:-))

  • VintageDawn replied 2 years ago

fun and chic, I love it!  I'm so glad you managed to get the pants, it's just fabulous on you!

  • Inge replied 2 years ago

    Yay Gryffin!!!

I just fainted, Angie!!!! The fit is perfect, and the light colour and windowpanecheck are just utterly stunning on you!! WOW to the WOW!!

There's no doubt, your gorgeous suit is going to be super versatile. Lots of pizzazz and very elegant. Very special for sure!

You are going to be turning heads every time you wear it!!

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

Thank you for the sweet words, everyone! I can't wait to wear my suit soon!

Jamie, this type of sandy colour tends to work well on those who wear warm colours well - irrespective of hair colour. The white in the window check makes it work well for blondes because the colours match.

  • Aquamarine replied 2 years ago

Wow, it’s perfect on you. Enjoy!

  • Noum replied 2 years ago

This is outstanding! And I love that you can see yourself wearing the suit for many years to come. I have had weight changes in the last 4 years, so right now this seems hard to achieve, but before then, I had remained mostly the same size until my early 40's. We'll see how the next couple of years go, but right now I am trying to build a wardrobe that I feel good in at my current weight. If things go according to plan, eventually I will be able to have the have investment pieces for years to come.

  • Zaeobi replied 2 years ago

Love this pantsuit on you, Angie - it suits you perfectly! Probably because it's the complete opposite of anything that would look good on me lol (windowpane geometric print, hip length blazer, light cool toned neutral, notch lapel etc) - a perfect example of making fashion work for our individual needs ;)

  • pegasus83 replied 2 years ago

Wow. That's definitely a power suit . Absolutely love it.

  • Angie replied 2 years ago

Thanks, everyone! I love this suit :)

  • Vicki replied 2 years ago

This suit, with  Gryffin's encouraging support, is so you and so perfect.  I can see why you love it!  The soft neutrals with the chosen shirts and sweaters, adds so many different looks.  You are this suit are "going somewhere" in style.  Wonderful photos!!!
