WIWs: BIG White Jeans

I LOVE WHITE JEANS.

One of my all time favourite items to wear!

I like to keep my bottoms on trend, and tend to be an early adopter of new bottom silhouettes. I'm into trendy FULL LENGTH wide legs at the moment, which meant that these Frame white jeans were calling my name. I ADORE them. Big, yet not overwhelming. Very comfortable. They became instant workhorses as soon as the weather warmed, and dried. (Waving at Tanya who has them too!)

I have regular length legs. They look long because the pants are FULL LENGTH. And tucking my top lengthens the leg line from the hips upwards. I'm wearing flat loafers. If I wore heels, my legs would look longer.

I've worn these glorious jeans many ways, and am showing you the first two. More trends coming through in these outfits:

Outfit 1: Pattern Mixed: Lemon jumper, Kate Spade belt, Tweed jacket, loafers, Furla, Pearls, Sam and Jo.

*the Japanese fresh water baby pearls are newish, and a gift from hubs Greg at the start of the pandemic. I've been wearing them a lot lately because the vibe works well with my longer hair, (to my eye, anyway!)

Outfit 2: Greenly Puffed: Puffy sleeves and I have a good relationship. I enjoy them. These exaggerated ones in bright green were too fun to pass up! Feel like I can kick-arse in them. Same belt, white Mary Janes, and an old yellow Tory Burch bag.

Shopping with a client all day tomorrow. I think I'll wear my BIG white jeans :)

Thanks for looking. xo

love white jeans, but I’ve passed on the full length wide leg version (found a pair early in the year, and yesterday saw them again - still in the store!). Am tempted…you look so cute!

  • Brooklyn replied 1 year ago

Love!!! You look divine. If I wore white jeans, these would be my ideal. Go team big pants!

  • Runcarla replied 1 year ago

PS:  I love that you are posting outfits from time to time! ❤️

  • Dee replied 1 year ago

Haha, such exuberant posing, there’s no doubt you do love your white wide legs, They are, of course looking fab on you and I love all your stylings but I am wondering what sort of topper you’d wear with those puffy sleeves?

  • Irina replied 1 year ago

So cute! You have such a beautiful energy that is contagious - we have vastly different styles and yet I find myself checking out items you wear :)

  • Janet replied 1 year ago

You wear them so well! And that green top is adorable on you! Pretty new pearls too. :-)

In my next life, I hope to return with a body type that looks good in white jeans. :-D

  • Nomad replied 1 year ago

Gorgeous, vibrant, playful, and elegant outfits! And I adore all your poses... your energy makes me so happy.

  • DonnaF replied 1 year ago

So cute on you! I envy your ability to keep white jeans clean, including the hems. Even without dragging, my hems would be filthy within five minutes.

  • Tanya replied 1 year ago

You look amazing in both outfits!  The pattern mix is lots of fun.  I really like the jeans, but of course I am biased as I have the same pair.

  • ChristelJ replied 1 year ago

Yay for the magnificent big white jeans! No one could possibly wear them better. Oh, and I'm a huge fan of the green puffed sleeved top, too. Puffed sleeves like this, on you, are indeed kick-arse!

  • CarolS replied 1 year ago

Your legs really do look a million miles long, Angie -- those jeans were just made for you!! I'm especially drawn to the pattern mix, and I echo Dee's question about what sort of topper you would wear with the puffed sleeve. Will they collapse to fit into a jacket ant then re-bloom again without too much wrinkling when the jacket comes off?

  • Cee replied 1 year ago

    I'm getting mad '70s vibes ( almost Osmond family-ish )

Oh and Sam kiss for the win :D

  • Jaime replied 1 year ago

These jeans were simply made for you! So gorgeous! And fun to see you in the puffy sleeve green top - now I know who can pull those off with sophistication :) ! Your pearls, your waves and Sam deserve special mention too!

  • Firecracker (Sharan) replied 1 year ago

Super fantastic! I love #6. That jacket is perfect with the big jeans. As are the puffy sleeves on the green top. I love how they play off the width of the pant legs.
Your style has evolved so much, say in the last year. Your new hair has a lot to do with the change I see, but I really enjoy seeing the pretty, playful elements mixed in with your timeless modern classics.

  • Sally replied 1 year ago

They look stunning with both top combinations.   Your hair is looking pretty and the whole effect is refreshing and swish.  Your dog is very cute.  How do you manage to keep so clean with a pet. My cat puts hairs on all my clothes.

  • Suz replied 1 year ago

Fantastic white jeans and gorgeous outfits. You are sparkling! Your legs really do look miles long and your vibrancy beams from the screen. Love the pattern (and texture) mix -- that lemony limey Boden top is so pretty and how fun with the Zara jacket. The green of the puff sleeved top just pops!

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Sorry to post and run, but thank you VERY much for the awfully kind words! I'm blushing :)

To answer your question Dee and CarolS, I wore the outfit with the puffy sleeves on a hot day when I was out of town a few weeks ago, so no need for a topper. The sleeves do, however, collapse under my trench coat. I tried that to see what would happen. And miraculously, they re-puff!

I will be back tomorrow to reply to you individually! Lots of you to high five.

  • kellygirl replied 1 year ago

I love white jeans on you too! It’s such a treat to see your WIWs! You glow in that green. Simply radiant!

  • bella replied 1 year ago

Lovely jeans! Your hair is looking really nice. I have a soft spot for that length of hair.

  • Kate replied 1 year ago

Your green top and yellow bag with the big white jeans is just adorable.

  • replied 1 year ago

Love the white jeans so much! Yay Team Full Length Wide Pants :)

  • Minaminu replied 1 year ago

who would have thought that white jeans could be so stylish and fresh! I really like how you coordinated them and the pearl necklace is very sweet! I have to say, it feels a bit strange to see you with a handbag that is not a Furla!

  • Olive Green replied 1 year ago

    Well, dopamine dressing! So pretty!

  • LJP replied 1 year ago

I can only chime in on the vibrant and pretty comments - the energy is indeed infectious, even as I head off to work in yet more black , lol.  Irina articulated what I've always felt : our styles are very different yet I still examine your pieces closely .  Very inspirational !

  • Star replied 1 year ago

    Super Springy!!  Love these.

  • sabimct replied 1 year ago

Your positive energy shines in these photos!

I take much inspiration in how you allow yourself to have fun with fashion - thank you Angie!

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Thank you ALL for the awfully kind compliments!

Carla, waving at my white jeans sister! Go get those wide legs. Thanks for noticing that I am posting outfits more frequently.

Brooklyn, Tanya, Suz and Suntiger, a passionate full length wide leg pants HIGH FIVE! Love being style sisters with you. Fun when our styles collide :)

Janet, you have a beautiful body for white wide leg jeans!

Irina, Nomad, Jaime, LJP, and Sabimct, that is high praise and I'm blushing :)

ChristalJ, puffy sleeve gals unite! A kick-arse high five to you.

Minaminu, it feels a bit strange to be too! Tory Burch cannot compare to Furla in my book....

Sharan, you are a sweetheart. I appreciate that you see "pretty and playful"! I aspire to that in my style :)

Cee, I watched the Osmond show! Good job spotting that was Sam's smooch.

Sally and DonnaF, our doggies are hypoallergenic, so they don't shed. It helps. So does my super power..... ;)

Kelly, Bella, Kate, Star, and Olive Green, lovely to see you chime in! Thanks for the kind words.

  • Bonnie replied 1 year ago

The white jeans are fab but your tops also look on trend to me. How fun is that lemon blouse, puff sleeve top, and that short jacket!

  • Dana replied 1 year ago

Fab!!!! I love it all! I'm loving the trend of that green right now, and what a cute top--puff sleeves are def your pal! Is that seersucker?? My all time favorite fabric! I just bought a Cinq a Sept seersucker blazer.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

bonnie, yes! These tops are trendy too. For a change. Thanks! :)

Dana, not seersucker, but a knitted fabric like it. Hope to see your new blazer!

  • slim cat replied 1 year ago

You are looking fabulous! Love the brightness and playfulness of outfits - perfect for spring. The green top with fun sleeves is perfect with wide leg white jeans! Of course Jo and Sam are great accessories as well ;-)
Pic #7 as my fav for the day.

  • Katerina replied 1 year ago

You look wonderful Angie, both outfits are beautiful. The combination with the cropped tweed jacket is especially amazing.
    Love the wavy hair!

  • lyn67 replied 1 year ago

Hah, I had a big revelation when looking at your picties, your longer and  bigger volume hair is balancing out quite ingenious the volume of your more oversized fitted outfits-and I love that! Killer all round, wow!!!

  • RobinF replied 1 year ago

Great outfits! I wear white jeans but not wide, full length white jeans. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be nearly as cute on me as they are on you :)

  • kkards replied 1 year ago

    Love!

  • April replied 1 year ago

Boo hoo - my pair are packed and ready to return.

    Look how cute you look!

  • The Cat replied 1 year ago

YLF! Fun and pretty, with retro vibes.

  • replied 1 year ago

Fun and refreshing! Lemon and lime for the win :)

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Slimcat, #7 is my fave too :)

Katerina, a jacket just for you! And thanks for the hair love.

Lyn67, you are right! The longer hair does a super duper job of balancing out BIG bottoms.

RobinF, high five to another white jeans sister!

    kkards, :)

The Cat, thanks for being so lovely.

April, sobbing I'm not big white jeans twinsies with you....

Nikki, yes to citrus love! Thanks for the kind words.

  • JP replied 1 year ago

Love!!! You look amazing in these white jeans!
I love white jeans and actually white everything.
    Cute top on you.
    Lovely pearls.
    Perfect pattern mixing.
    I enjoy your outfit posts.

  • Sal replied 1 year ago

Gorgeous outfits - I love the green in particular - and the hair is wonderful.

    Great white jeans!

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Rachy, us puffy sleeve gals unite!

JP, you are lovely! Such sweet words :) - a big "I love white everything" HIGH FIVE.

Sal, fab to to be WIDE leg style sisters with you!

  • Inge replied 1 year ago

These jeans are fantastic, Angie! And I love your new baby pearls too. The cropped tweed jacket is stunning, and are you rocking those dramatic puffy sleeves or what!! Love it all!-)

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Thanks, sweet Inge! Do you need wide jeans too? :)

  • Violet Wilkins replied 1 year ago

I love the pearls with white bottoms- lovely color grouping!  And with the white being such a nice color/value for you, too.   Have you tried them with alternate-color shoes yet?  I think it would be cool to have just a peek of them under the pants.  Anyway, it's always so fun to see your outfits, thanks for showing us!

  • Debbie replied 1 year ago

You look beautiful. That puffy sleeve blouse is right up my alley. That color is definitely on my radar. The pearls. I love. Everything about it is amazing. I like the lemon top too but the green steals the show.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Debbie, a big emerald green high five! Thanks for being your sweet self :)

Violet, yes! These alternative colour shoes work well with the big white jeans too:

  • Vicki replied 1 year ago

I am loving these white jeans on you, Angie, especially with the delicate blue glasses, and the other pops of color. Plus, you have the ULTIMATE finesse in posing playfulness and I can’t get over the fact that you and your Yorkies, Sam and Jo, have similar hair/fur colors. Love it with the wavy styling. Those white jean are AMAZING!

  • Karie replied 1 year ago

Gorgeous! Your legs look miles long in those jeans. And your hair is getting so long! It looks fantastic.

  • BlueJay replied 1 year ago

Great white jeans, Angie! I love both outfits! Cute with the cropped jacket. My favourite combo is green and white. Sleeves that repuff. Ha! Your hair looks fantastic. I like the colour and the waves.

  • Carol replied 1 year ago

Like the jeans with the pattern top, but love them with the green, puff-sleeved shirt. You look like Elizabeth Banks when she started directing.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Vicki, it's a compliment to be compared to Sam and Jo! Lovely to see you chime in. Thanks for the sweet comment :)

Karie, I know! I've forgotten how long legs look in full length pants and jeans. Thanks for the kind words. Always nice to see you.

Blue Jay, you are lovely! Appreciate your enthusiasm.

    Carol, I like Elizabeth Banks!

  • Eliza replied 1 year ago

Love seeing the wider pants silhouette styled. These looks are great on you and the brights paired with the white jeans celebrates the season. Inspirational!

  • Joy replied 1 year ago

I love your big wide leg jeans.  They fir seamlessly into your summer wardrobe.  I am looking forward to seeing how you style them and copy cat you with a pair of EF white linen ones.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Eliza, white jeans are so Summery! When it's not too hot to wear them ;)

    Joy, white bottoms sisters unite!

  • Helena replied 1 year ago

YLF! I love that green top so much - it's gorgeous on you.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Helena, thanks! Puffed sleeves are my friends.

  • Joy replied 1 year ago

I love white and oatmeal bottoms for spring/summer and all year.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

I like oatmeal pants too, Joy! But not for Summer. For the the other three seasons.

  • Jonesy replied 1 year ago

These are delightful! I love them on you, especially with that bright green puff-sleeved top--the silhouette is so interesting and chic.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Jonesy, thanks for your always kind and lovely comments! They hit the spot :)
