WIW: Beachy Co-Ord

Summer hit Seattle this week! Sunny and toasty. Low humidity. I'm not on the beach, but we live by the water, so beachy-lite!

Covered and breezy is the way I go to ensure sun protection :)

Bust out my new MANGO pants set (co-ord), which is one of four Summer uniforms. (Waving to Irina and Aloha Emily who have its cousins in different colours). EXCEPTIONAL fabric! Quality is absolutley awesome. No wrinkles and feels heavenly against the skin! Hubs Greg loves it.

Wore the outfit two days in a row because I love it too!!! Tucked the top to create a two-piece-jumpsuit.

Pics taken in our newly remodeled loft. Still figuring out the best time of day to take pics. Shoes, hat, and bag are old.

This is the best sunhat on the planet. Got it in Greece. It's packable, washable, soft, comfy, stays on my head, and offers excellent protection from the sun.

Thanks for looking. THRILLED TO BE BACK HOME! xo

I LOVE the shade of blue on you Angie. You are glowing!

  • Irina replied 5 months ago

    Wow! Looks so summery! YLF!

  • Tanya replied 5 months ago

Yay! Super summery and so much fun. Love the blues.

  • Laura replied 5 months ago

You have pictures hung! It’s all looking spectacular. Matching set looks breezy and summery. Hair is getting long, great length on you!

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Thanks, Tanya and Irina! A summery outfit for hot weather. Nod to the '70s.

Helena, thank you! Yes, blues and whites work well with my complexion despite green eyes ;) I'm glowing because I'm VERY happy to be back home.....

Laura, you noticed! :)  All unpacked and everything is hung. Thanks for the kind words, as always! Agree that this length of hair looks better on me than a bob.

This print is giving me a bandanna vibe! Which for me says retro summer.  Love.  And the hat, FAB!

  • aloha emily replied 5 months ago

Looks gorgeous, Angie!! I’ve worn mine too and love it!! I feel so chic having the same outfit as my style hero! Also you hair looks wonderful this length!

  • Firecracker (Sharan) replied 5 months ago

Super fun, beach-chic look, Angie. You look like you're on a vacation. What a great complement your sunglasses and hat make for this outfit.

I love that picture behind you. The colors and dress-form allusion are so appropriate!

  • Suz replied 5 months ago

You look so glam in this outfit! Beautiful! And very very tempting! It's a great way to stay covered, cool, and crisp. Hmmmm. Maybe I need to investigate....

I love the way it really does seem like a jumpsuit. I think the accessories help. With the leather and the jewellery, the outfit goes from beach to town.

The hat is perfection. As is the artwork.

  • Kyle replied 5 months ago

What Helena said! WOW does that shade of blue love you. I’m delighted you’ve found a way to weather the sun and city heat without compromising your fashion requirements. White accessories and your blue eyeglasses are the perfect accompaniments to this beautiful look, as are Sam and Jo! Easy breezy has never looked so good!

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

kkards, I love retro looks, so I'm smiling!

aloha emily, such gracious words! I'm blushing, smiling, grateful, and fun to be outfit twinsies with you :)

Sharan, more kind words, and thanks so much! Being in our old-new loft feels like being on vacation! Good grief - I missed it. You don't miss a trick with the artwork! Greg surprised me with it 20 years ago. It's a fave :)

  • Dee replied 5 months ago

Holy Smokes! What a stunning way to enjoy summer and keep the sun off. Love the gorgeous blue colour and pattern.

  • Jaime replied 5 months ago

Beautiful! The outfit is perfect on you, the loft looks dreamy and I love the hat - does it roll up? That would be the dream :) .

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Suz, thanks for the sweet words, and analysis! Always fab! Yes to the ease of a TWO-piece jumpsuit. (I like the top tucked!) I vote investigate this set for yourself since we have hot Summers these days  ;)

Kyle, WOW! What a sweet thing to say! Appreciate the therapeutic compliments, and Sam and Jo send tailwags and kisses :)

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Dee, such kind compliments! I can see you sport similar summery pattern in a top - don't you think? Go Team Blue!

Jaime, thanks for the gracious words about the outfit and loft! YES, the hat rolls up :)

  • Cookie replied 5 months ago

I like the jumpsuit effect! The print looks so good with the pale blue glasses.
    *blowing kisses to doggies*

  • JAileen replied 5 months ago

What a beautiful outfit!  I love your hair, too.

  • Lisa replied 5 months ago

You had me with matching set. Love this! The print, color, and drape are perfection for summer. This is how to look cool and stylish while also staying covered from the sun. and the hat and barrel bag are the perfect summer accessory’s they are both statement pieces that pair so well together (the big brim on the hat is magnificent and the barrel bag is such a fun shape).

I bet it feels SO GOOD to be back home. Enjoy! :)

  • Brooklyn replied 5 months ago

    Love! That hat is everything!!

  • Star (Lise) replied 5 months ago

The hat really suits you! Outfit is pretty and funky to my eye. Looks breezy too, so important by the water in summer.

  • Bijou replied 5 months ago

    Gorgeous summer style!

  • lyn67 replied 5 months ago

Stunning on You! I couldn't wear this much of patter on my (biger sized) body -in fact my version of this would be my white and navy patterned long sleeve and midi cotton dress from Zara (which you also own:-)) and still not wore out of the house yet, what a shame!:-(

  • unfrumped replied 5 months ago

    Super cute!

  • RobinF replied 5 months ago

I love this on you! It would just look like p.j.'s on me but you make it look so chic and breezy. Summer is here!

  • Janet replied 5 months ago

First of all, BIG YAY for you being back in your beautiful “new” home! I’m dying to see pics of how it all turned out. It looks fantastic in the background — so much beautiful light!

But also, I love this outfit and would be tempted myself! Not sure about long sleeves for me in our humidity, but I love the color palette and the easy style. It looks wonderful on you. You are looking better than ever, IMO. Your hair is so pretty! How lucky you are to have such a great natural color! Just gorgeous all around.

  • LJP replied 5 months ago

You have a European  coastal elegance going on here - so pretty !  Gorgeous hair too :)

  • Carol replied 5 months ago

I do not have a two-piece like this, but I know they are popular. I love that you tucked it, and paired with a carefree pearl necklace, and matching summery shoes. I think tucking it and styling it like this puts it in a more resort-wear direction, which is exactly how I'd wear it.

  • Runcarla replied 5 months ago

Cool, classy, summer cool!  I’ve been a fan of Mango since finding my perfect wool winter coat!

  • Bonnie replied 5 months ago

Love it!  The Bubble Bar pearls are the perfect addition. It looks comfortable and a bit dressy at the same time.

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Cookie, tonal blues work well together, don't they. Sam and Jo send kisses back!

JAileen, thanks for the sweet words!

Lisa, that's high praise, and I'm smiling. Thank you! High fiving your match-matchy gene, and appreciate for the big welcome home :)

Brooklyn and Bijou, thank you! You get sun protection more than most living in Australia. Go Team Sun Hat :)

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Star, it's a SUPER breezy set. My favourite for hot weather - along with a pretty dress!

Lyn67, thanks! And which patterned dress do you mean? Please wear yours!

    Thanks, Carla and unfrumped!

Janet, such a thoughtful comment! Thanks for the awfully kind words about our remodel, and for the lovely compliments about this outfit and my hair. YES to trying the set too :)

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

RobinF, I'm sure you'd rock a set! Appreciate the kind words.

LJP, thanks for the compliments! Shoulder length hair is better on me than a bob - although I had to have a bob to get to this length ;)

Bonnie, thank you! The necklace sold out fast, probably precisely for those reasons. Astute of you to notice.

Carol, I do look resort-y, don't I! I can wear a resort look in the comfort of my home city ;)

  • sabimct replied 5 months ago

Absolutely stunning Angie - big wow!  Those blues work beautifully with your complextion!

Thrilled for you and Greg - I bet it is a joyful thing to be unpacked and HOME!!

  • Sal replied 5 months ago

Lovely summer outfit Angie.  And how nice to see a snippet of the loft.  So light and airy!!

Pleased you are having a good start to summer - it has been very wet and dull here.

  • ChristelJ replied 5 months ago

Oh my, how very pretty and super stylish you are in this set! Pic 7 with hat, bag, shoes and sunglasses is dynamite - just so great.

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Sabimct and ChristelJ, such high praise and kind words! Many thanks for your grace :)

Sal, being at home is MUCH needed therapy! Thanks for the compliments. It's back to June-uary in Seattle though. Typical :(

You could be a model for the Amalfi Coast in that get-up! I really admire your confidence to pull it off in public, Angie. All eyes will undoubtedly be on you!

I have been away from home for long periods in the past and completely understand the succor of returning. Congratulations on your homecoming and completed renovations. May you have many years of enjoyment!
