TOP PICKS: Activewear and Loungewear

These are the winners on clients so far.

Size DOWN in Zella tops and toppers, Barefoot Dreams items, and Hurley items. Zella bottoms run more TTS.

Save the Duck runs narrower. Size up if you want more room, or have broad shoulders

Quality generally VERY good!

Feel free to ask questions about items here, and I'll do my best to answer them :)

Wow - I'm kinda glad this isn't practical for Cdns to order or I'd be in trouble. I want all of the Zella stuff - especially the quilted drawstring jacket.

Such a. niice set of items. It's good to see more interesting details on some of the activewear.

No surprise that I adore all the Zella. How interesting that Zella is running big for tops and toppers. I've been stalking the blue tempest Zella items, looks like I'll have to start stalking two sizes just in case. The Save the Duck satin puffer jacket is not practical for my wardrobe but gosh that's such a pretty color teal!

Thanks for putting together these lists Angie, it's very helpful.

I wasn't tempted by anything I'd seen so far, until now. I really want that Zella longline quilted jacket. The color I want is sold out—I guess. It's not even showing on the website.

I keep looking at the quilted Zella jacket.  It looks perfect for dog walking, although I don’t love any of the colors.  Should practicality and function over rule my color palette and taste?

Yay I bought a top pick!

I have an earlier version of the Zella studio luxe active jacket and it’s held up really well. I use it for too and from Pilates and this winter during the coldest days, used it in Pilates until I got warmed up. Highly recommend.

The Zella 3-in-1 trench made your picks--yay! I think I'm going to love it. I'm looking forward to a cooler day when I can wear it. That's not something we usually have to wait for in Seattle--haha!

I'm surprised you didn't pick the faux fur reversible Save the Duck jacket.

I'm waiting to receive my Bedhead PJs. I hope they run roomy, because I ordered the smaller of my two usual sizes.

I had the Zella Ultracozy Pleated Joggers and matching hoody (Finds below, NOT on your list) on my wish list. When I saw them in person, I didn't even try them on. They seemed quite bulky. They might be good for lounging around the house. But I prefer sweats that hit the sweet spot between cozy and streamlined--your picks look like they are in this more easily wearable category.

Sharan, I added your jackets as top picks to the jacket and coat thread!  And which reversable jacket do you mean? I didn't see it! And you ROCK your tops picks :)

LJP and Suz, VERY good fabric and garment detailing this year! I'm impressed.

Lisa, I expect to see LOTS of Zella fabness in your NAS stash :)

    Kate, hope it pops up!

Staysfit, absolutely not! If the colour is wrong - the item is wrong. Pass. Find something in YOUR colours!

kkards, excellent validation, thank you! You wear those items with sass!

Love so many of these but especially the Lole brown puffer/bomber. The cut looks more roomy than the Save the Duck. I’m usually between a small and medium—might have to order both. Thanks, Angie for the recommendations! I usually never see anything on my own.

  • Angie replied 4 months ago

Kelly, hope one of the sizes works out! Yes, the Lole is roomier than the Save the Duck. Fingers crossed.

Angie, the reversible jacket is the Save the Duck faux fur one, which you added.

  • Angie replied 4 months ago

Yay, Sharan! I LOVE the Save the Duck brand.
