Replacement White Bottoms: UNIFORM

White jeans and Summer white pants were on my shopping list - and I've found them! (Needed to replace old pairs of white bottoms that bit the dust. Wardrobe essentials for my style).

  • Boden Chinos (sorry - no pics yet - later!)
  • COH jeans are super duper after getting the right size! I sized down two sizes to get the fit I wanted. The crotch point is a little long, but works with the drama of the silhouette, to my eye.

Showing the jeans with cropped apple green silk/cotton sweater which is much more sour in person. Colour is like the Find. The light in this rental it making it blue.

Also showing it with a silk horsey blouse I got for Christmas plus gold support act because white bottoms are my UNIFORM  - (and happy place :) ) -  in the late Spring and Summer. It's all I want to wear along with shirtdresses and co-ords.

I tried on several pairs of white slim straight jeans. They looked fine, but did not spark joy. I'm happy to wear slim straight trousers - and do! But want my jeans roomy, relaxed and big. For now ;)

Very pretty, Angie. I like the modern take on a classic style.

Looks great Angie! Love both renditions - I have one of BRs silk cotton blend sweaters and I love it ... Drapes so nicely!

  • Dee replied 1 month ago

Ouu.... Great fit on those jeans, looks perfect for the spring weather to come. Adorable blue horsey top.

I am always so impressed and inspired by how you have such a clear vision for what you want and do not settle for less. The new jeans are just perfect on you of course!

What Jaime said! The new jeans are just right! Looking forward to seeing the chinos, too.

Yay the horsey blouse has been styled! *high five blouse twin* It is lovely on you and I like how you’ve styled it here too. The gold belt and loafers are excellent paired with the blouse. I plan to copy this look with my gold Boden belt and gold slip on Ecco sneakers, thanks for the inspiration! :)

The sour green sweater and white trousers and blue loafers in outfit #1 are a slam dunk too. I am brain storming what’s in my closet to copy this look too. :)  I have a Kelly green knit, white jeans, and baby blue loafers, I’ll have to do an outfit try on to see if it works. I love these colors your paired together here. Perfect for spring!

For jeans fit, I have done the same as you Angie, gone up or down in size to get the fit I want. For jeans lately I have been going up a size for more slouch and scrunch in the fit.

The COH jeans here are perfect for spring and summer. The cuff hem is such a fun detail and really adds nice interest to the jeans. How fun Angie that you’ve found your white bottoms at the start of the season so you can get maximum wear out of them!

Love these jeans! And they look great with the classic tops. Trendy on the bottom, more classic up top is a great formula!

  • Bijou replied 1 month ago

There is something so fresh about crisp white bottoms, these are all sorts of fabulous on you!

  • Star replied 1 month ago

The green and white is gorgeous together. Love it!

  • Janet replied 1 month ago

I love the fit of those jeans. I’m always drawn to white jeans but in reality don’t enjoy wearing them. Just not my best look. I will live vicariously!

  • Bonnie replied 1 month ago

Love these jeans and your spring/summer uniform. Very pretty tops, too.

  • Angie replied 1 month ago

    Thanks Irina, Star and Janet

Helena, haven't shopped at BR for years! Then out of the blue - they had the right sour sweater. Agree! Gorgeous quality :)

Lisa, appreciate the very sweet words! A big horsey HIGH FIVE! Look forward to seeing your twinning-looks soon. Humbled to have inspired you ;)

Dee, I'm going to wear my new white jeans soon! I think you wear white jeans too......

bonnie, white jeans wearers unite :)

Suz, you said it! LOVE fashion on the bottom - love the classics up top.

Bijou, I'm addicted to crisp white and cream bottoms. They never let me down!

Jaime and Sharan, that's high praise - thanks so much!

I have a very clear picture of how I want to dress and what I want to wear now. That was NOT always the case! It's taken years of learning from mistakes, figuring things out, sticking to what works best for me, and building a wardrobe accordingly - to get there :)

Love your calm and confident explanation of how you understand the *specifics* of your preferences. Aspirational!

How great that you have your uniform all ready and waiting for warmer weather to arrive. Both of these are great -- and very different (the addition of the belt really dresses up the jeans) -- looks, and I can easily imagine how you will remix the pants with a variety of tops from your wardrobe. Sorted!

It’s a great uniform, and your “keeping whites clean” superpower is pretty handy!
I am leaning towards a lot of cream in the wardrobe, as it goes so well with all muted colour, and your optic whites look great with the sours.
There is a white for us all, I guess.

The white jeans look SO much better on you than they do in the stock photo.  You wear them so well !  I'm in the market for a new pair for summer too but haven't started looking .

  • slim cat replied 1 month ago

Very fun addition - made for you! You have super power in dealings with bright white jeans ;-) !

  • Ket replied 1 month ago

Superb! The loose wide jeans are signature on you!! And I really like the horsey print shirt for a touch of whimsical equestrian. I’m opposite of you: I still need and enjoy slim leg jeans but have transitioned to a wide leg silhouette in pants/trousers. At least for this spring/summer. ;) everyone around me is wearing very wide, loose jean styles (and sweatpant styles) almost exclusively. And almost entirely in lighter washes. I feel a little out of the trend loop. I also know loose+wide isn’t usually my best. Soooo… clinging to slim/straight leg jeans for now. Haha!

So pretty!! Love your longer hair too!

  • Angie replied 1 month ago

SarahD8, such a kind and energetic reply, thanks so much! Sorted on white bottoms for sure ;)

LJP, thanks! I suspect the model could have sized down in the jeans too. Hope you find what you're looking for!

Olive Green and Slim Cat, appreciate the compliments!  Am thankful for my super power - and YES, there is a white for all of us  ;)

  • Angie replied 1 month ago

Ket, thanks for the kind words! Slim straights love you back so please carry on ;)

Emily, thanks for the hair love!

  • RobinF replied 1 month ago

Great jeans! My white jeans are on the slim side and I have been debating looking for wider leg for the summer. Might be cooler too.

  • Mary Beth (formerly LBD) replied 1 month ago

Beautiful!  I especially love the jeans with the green sweater!

  • Angie replied 1 month ago

RobinF, wide bottoms are definitely more breezy, and I hope you find the right pair!

Mary Beth, thanks for the kind words :)

  • Debbie replied 1 month ago

The jeans look amazing on you and I love how the tops look with them! Perfection!

  • Angie replied 1 month ago

Thanks for the sweet words, Debbie :)
