OOTD: Neutrally Neon

This is what I'm wearing today. At home. With nowhere to go apart from take Sam on his daily walks. Will go grocery shopping next week. It's our 3rd week of staying at home since we live in Seattle (where the virus started in the US). We are getting very used it....

I felt like wearing neutrals and some golden oldies today, so I hauled out my 9 year old short neon coat with fun inner piping, and eight year old pink Kate Spade satchel. Combined it with navy windowpane wide crops, tucked cream pullover, and at-home-only vanilla metallic sneakers. Comfy as can be as I work, clean, cook, walk, connect and organize :)

My sheltering and isolating normal:

Styled hair, make-up, wearing my pretty clothes, specs, glam pearls, Apple watch, big smile, calm, energetic, sense of humour, and not spreading fear. I am leaving off my wedding rings because of excessive hand washing, sanitizing and moisturizing.

I wear lots of trendy pairs of pants! Love them as much as my jeans.

And that's a highly sought after Clorex wipe in #11. Didn't realize I was holding it in my hand. Sam is as cool as a cucumber, and a lot more interested in his ball....

Thanks for being such an inspiration!
Love those blue windowpane pants. They’re fabulous.
It looks like this might be a good year for trousers! I know you’d said you wanted to wear trousers more often. Not sure if this is still a goal...

Fab outfit.  Looking good at home.

    Great pants indeed.

It's a silver lining for me to see your daily outfit. Love the blue, white, and neon combo. Sam looks thrilled to have you home.

  • sarah replied 4 years ago

Keep posting, Angie. It's a treat to see your daily outfits - they are fun, bright, cheerful, and your big smile (and Sam's cute gazes) is a breath of fresh air in these dark times. I've missed seeing your perfectly put-together yet seemingly effortless style.

Love the photo of Serene Sam and you know how to wear neon! I would not have thought of it as a neutral.

  • CarolS replied 4 years ago

Plus, Sam could not be cuter.

Love this combination. Your citron coat looks fresh and fab, it is so good when pieces go the distance.

The BR knitwear of 2020 has been outstanding. Another gorgeous BR piece.

  • Jaime replied 4 years ago

I love how your hair is growing in! The white top and fantastic trousers are wonderful on their own, but the addition of the citron jacket makes the outfit amazing. Glad you are keeping your spirits up - you are certainly cheering mine!

  • Deb replied 4 years ago

Love the way your going out for a walk outfit matches the candle holders which match Sam’s collar and bedding. Truly coordinated! Stay safe!

  • Mirjana replied 4 years ago

Beautiful Angie! Cream top and fantastic pants are amazing on you. You are really therapeutic in this hard time. Thank you.

Happy dance!! So quintessentially you Angie!!

  • Joyce B replied 4 years ago

Loving your outfit. I look forward to seeing your happy outfits.
What are the pants? I don’t think they are Madewell window panes since they have some drape.

  • Inge replied 4 years ago

This is just absolutely delightful from head to toe!!!

  • lyn67 replied 4 years ago

Easy-"Clorex"-peasy & glamy stay at home outfit! You won't be Angie if you'd done it otherway, of course! We will experince the  strict lockdown from  midnight only-and it is scary, but great to come here and see your fresh colors and positive smile! Thank you for keepin' us posted! (Although you cannot visit now (saddly) but hope your DPapa is also doing great!)

  • Jules replied 4 years ago

Love this and all your OOTD posts!

    Super, super cute outfit!
That photo with the Clorox wipe will be a reminder of this time in the Archives.

  • Angie replied 4 years ago

Oh my word! Thanks for the awfully kind words, ladies. You are all sooo nice. Glad that Sam and I can entertain you in some very small way…...

Suz, uplifting comments do the same :)

Bijou, YES. Big shoutout to BR this past year. Love their items at the moment.

Jaime, Preppy Pear and Lisa P, the good quarantine hair won’t last. I am in my eighth week, and usually go to the salon every six weeks. Soon my hair will look like an unkept garden…….

    Deb, you are observant!

Joyce, the pants are from Club Monaco. You can click in the Find above.

Lyn67, thanks for asking. Papa doing well for now,

  • mtnsofthemoon replied 4 years ago

Beautiful pants.  But I have to say  - loving the hair!  Super cute.  Loving the wavy soft and feminine look!  And Sam is just too darn cute!

  • Vicki replied 4 years ago

Love it all and you glow in citron and Sam!!!  You make life a joy and it shows in what you wear and how you style it.  I love this outfit and the pearls, of course.  That's a very good point on wearing rings, since hand washing, sanitizing and moisturizing are a constant.  Hey, you even look beautiful with a Clorox wipe and your smile is contagious.  LOL!

  • Angie replied 4 years ago

Thank you for the therapeutic comments. Lots of affectionate elbow bumps!

  • Jenn replied 4 years ago

Always fun to see your cheerful outfits and your cheerful face! Your hair looks GREAT!

  • Deborah replied 4 years ago

Loving your work from home outfits!  Inspiring and your sense of fun in the photos made my day that bit more sunny x

  • replied 4 years ago

Aww Sam :) And love the citron coat! My yoga teacher said we should namaste instead of elbow bump :)

  • Angie replied 4 years ago

Thanks so much for the kind words and giggles, ladies!

NAMASTE to all of you :)
