OOTD: Casual Festive Fair Isle

LOTS to celebrate today :)

The first COVID-19 vaccinations were given to Seattle healthcare workers on the front-lines this morning ..... 

24 years of marriage to my soul mate.....

Wearing boots for the first time since March.....

Naked skin is rash-free....

Sam and I stayed dry on our walk.....

2 more weeks of 2020......

Today was a regular WFH day with errands and doggie walks, all on foot and in the city. The Fair Isle jumper was a thoughtful gift from a Fabber, and is fun to wear at this time of year. Dutch orange Christmas!

The rest in my usual mix of old and new, trendy and classic, tailoring and fluidity, lots of colour, white footwear, shiny pearls, crisp polish, extreme comfort, and Sam in tow. 

Straightened my hair for a change. 

COVID continues to ravage the US and we are still in partial lockdown. Life is very restricted, and will get a little tougher before things look better in the Spring and Summer. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hanging in there a little longer. Onward we go!

    Gorgeous outfit Angie, you are the Queen of Colour !  And congratulations and Happy Anniversary to you and Greg.
    And yes hang in there re the restrictions.  We have had an extended period of very tight restrictions and we do now seem to have things under control and are slowly returning a new normal.  It is great news about the vaccine but I am wondering how people feel about a vaccine that has been created so quickly and without extensive testing?  I have to admit I feel a little anxious about it, but I am not in the high risk group and I think it will be awhile before it's offered to my age group.

    Thanks, Debs. Glad Australia is doing so well! The vaccine has been very tricky business. I'm positive, and will also be one of the last groups to be vaccinated.

    Suntiger, it's a great coat. I find turquoise versatile. It goes with my red, navy, citron, pink and orange!

    Happy anniversary to you and Greg. You look beautiful. It’s a great day for sure. Lots to celebrate.

    I can’t wait for vaccinations to come. Most hopeful that my m-i-l will be receiving hers soon. From what I’m reading, senior assisted living people may be getting them soon, within the month. She says she’s waiting with her arm hanging out the door, ready for the shot, as soon as they can get it. Neither she nor we are the least bit afraid because she has been stuck in her building, under good care, since last March 13. We talk to her every day, have seen her from a distance, but it’s difficult.


    As soon as it’s available to us, DH and I will both be taking it. And as soon as possible thereafter, we’ll head for Colorado to see our daughter and her husband and our two little grandsons. 

    I am not worried about the vaccine.

    SO glad you get to mark your anniversary with this stellar news about the vaccine. Not to mention a fab outfit! You must make people super happy, just to see you on the grey street!

    I never saw such a happy fair isle sweater- used to see them more in neutrals and/or Xmass red, but this is so stunning in orange! And look at the most original styling (with turquoise)--that is such an Angie signiture thing!!! Love it and makes a great celebration outfit for all those happy reasons- Congratulations!!!!:-)

    I bought an Esprit fair Isle jumper in a different colourway at around the same time that you and Anchie got yours. Mine is pilling quite a bit though. :( Hope yours is of better quality!
