I workout at 5.30am ish and wear yoga clothes. After that I shower and wear my outfit for the day. I change into lounge clothes after supper. So I wear my day outfit a LONG time.

This is what I'm wearing today. At home. With nowhere to go apart from take Sam on his daily walks. We are on VERY strict State of Washington STAY AT HOME orders. We are being extremely obedient. 4th week....

I am a completely emotional mood dresser! This morning I had lots of energy so I chose an outfit that reflected those feelings. Red = ENERGY.

  • Last season's red wide crops
  • This season's cropped turquoise pullover
  • AT HOME ONLY trendy Seinfeld sneakers. (Changed shoes to go outside)
  • 5 year old red jacket
  • 5 year old turquoise Furla

Comfy as can be as I work, clean, cook, walk, connect, watch the news, play with Sam, and organize. I cleaned, cooked and sanitized all afternoon - with a gigantic apron over this! (No jacket)

My sheltering and isolating normal:

Styled hair, make-up, wearing my pretty clothes, specs, glam pearls, Apple watch, big smile, calm, energetic, sense of humour, and not spreading fear. No rings at all.

After a week of seeing Spring outfits that are nothing but my regular style, you might understand why I love to wear colours. I am very consistent with the colours that I like. Sam has collars to match, they are all over our home, and we have mugs that match too :)

Off to walk Sam and rest my back. xo

Love! Such happy colors.  You look lovely, and Sam is adorable as always. <3 K.

  • Runcarla replied 1 year ago

The silhouette is very flattering and the colours are fun and, yes, energizing!

  • slim cat replied 1 year ago

Bright and energetic it is - great matching colors and accessories
    ( mugs! ).

  • JAileen replied 1 year ago

Cute outfit with a matching mug!  But Sam is just too cute.

  • CarolS replied 1 year ago

It's impossible to look at you and NOT feel happy. Thanks Angie. So glad you are staying safe at home and keeping your spirits high.

  • Tina replied 1 year ago

Sam always looks so smart, like he totally understands and has his opinions! Just so cute!
7 and 11 are my favourite poses but the pants/sweater/jacket combo is just so excellent!

  • Suz replied 1 year ago

Angie, you look sensational. SOOOO bright and fresh. Love the red and turquoise on you. And a matching mug!!!

  • Helena replied 1 year ago

Fab colour combo! Sam is just adorable xx

  • anne replied 1 year ago

Great outfit, colour and poses. Did you wake up at 5:30 before lockdown?

  • rachylou replied 1 year ago

Whoa! With the jacket! On Fire! :)

  • Eliza replied 1 year ago

That outfit is enough to energize any distant passerby, too. Such a fresh color combo and wonderful pieces. Love it and pearls are pandemic perfection. If I lived near you, I’d walk my imaginary dog at the same time just to enjoy your outfits and your smile.

  • bonnie replied 1 year ago

Love your energy!. How do you find matching colors? Your turquoises match and your reds match. That is an amazing super power.

  • Bijou replied 1 year ago

My favourite colour combination. LOVELY and so much fun. Sam is a lucky dog to have such a glamorous walking companion.

  • Deborah replied 1 year ago

You look amazing in these colours Angie and so does Sam :)

  • Mirjana replied 1 year ago

Adorable Angie! These colors are beautiful on you and only you can wear this color combo on the best way. Love your energy.

  • Jjsloane replied 1 year ago

Thanks Angie, I needed this! After starting off strong in my 1/2 WH style, this week I went straight to 4 and did not feel fab. Maybe bringing out some bright spring items that have been tucked away is the therapy I need this weekend to get back on track next week. You and Sam are so adorable!

  • suntiger replied 1 year ago

Your happy colors, and matching mug and Sam, make me smile :) So glad you're posting your outfits each day!

  • Joy replied 1 year ago

What a happy energetic way to stay at home. Sam looks like he wants to give doggie kisses.. I wish I could get to be as disciplined about colors as you are. Now I want some bright red pants.

  • kkards replied 1 year ago

And I was feeling so smug because I put on ‘real’ clothes, ie jeans and a sweater everyday.  Lol. Angie you make me feel like a slacker.  But really, I’m happy with just getting out of lounge clothed each day.

    Love this red suit!

  • Kyle replied 1 year ago

So vibrant and fun. Love the cropped jacket. And Sam.

  • karen13 replied 1 year ago

Thanks so much for the OOTDs. They are a bright (literally and figuratively) spot of my morning.☀️

  • Joyce B replied 1 year ago

    So happy :)

  • smittie replied 1 year ago

Beautiful and energetic! You radiate positivity!
I like how you pair these colours! Very artistic!

  • Debbie replied 1 year ago

    Absolutely love this.
Angie I can’t tell you how much these post lift my spirits.

  • Kate replied 1 year ago

You are a one-woman lift to the spirits, Angie!

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Oh my world, ladies! I feel undeserving of these extremely gracious compliments. But only human to admit that they do make me smile. Thank you sooo much! Sam says thank you too :)

Anne, I usually wake up between 5 and 6am anyway. No change during lockdown. Just not rushing around to get somewhere....

Tina, YES. Sam is very clever. Like most terriers!

Bonnie, that the colours of the items match is a complete fluke. Not planned.

Kkards and Jeanne, post your outfits here and we will keep you accountable!

  • Cardiff girl replied 1 year ago

Sigh,l am swooning at your colours.l have also noticed the silhouette you are wearing is one that you tend to favour at the moment and why not when you look this good.

  • lisa p replied 1 year ago

Piling on the compliments here :) Such a fresh and pretty colour combo , and it’s sensational with your blonde hair . 4 weeks is a heck of a long time - we are just finished week 2 ( I think ) and I know we have many more to go . I can absolutely see how such crisp and bright clothing make one feel energized and hopeful.

  • lisa p replied 1 year ago

But 5:30 am ? No envy there - cannot even conceive of it . I find this isolation has turned me into a night owl and I’m sleeping til 8:30 or 9 which is ridiculous but also a bit indulgent .

  • The Cat replied 1 year ago

Love your cheerful, colourful outfits--and the matching mugs. :-)

  • MsMaven replied 1 year ago

Love it! This is what we need: color and smiles and a cute dog.

  • unfrumped replied 1 year ago

Ooh. These are beautiful colors and combo on you.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

(*I forgot to add the Finds. Sorted).

Thanks for the kind words, ladies! You're awfully kind, and I'm blushing.

Cardiff Girl, well spotted. YES, I'm preferring "cropped over wide" as opposed to "long over lean" in terms of outfit silhouettes. I'm trendy with my bottoms so that's why.

  • Jaime replied 1 year ago

I feel more awake just looking at the thumbnails! Such a stunning combination, but it doesn't overpower you at all but just enhances your glowing and beautiful face. How is that :) ?

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Oh, Jaime. Your gracious words are therapeutic. Thank you.

  • cindysmith replied 1 year ago

    Love the color combination!

  • Roxanna replied 1 year ago

You take matching mugs up a new level :) that's a great insight that you are consistent with the colors you like - soi you can afford to surround yourself with them, and everything coordinates. I'm much more fickle, I'm afraid - but it had given me something to think about!

  • lyn67 replied 1 year ago

I so love to see Sam with assorted collars:-))(we miss our doggie more than ever  now) and you look more than fab of course, so very and unbeatable You!

  • Cee replied 1 year ago

Gorgeously photogenic... and you're OK too, Angie :D

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

    Thanks so much, ladies!

Lyn67, so sad when our doggies leave us :(

    Roxanna, there you go!

Cee, it's hard to keep up with Sam's fabness :)

  • Style Fan replied 1 year ago

Angie, you always look so fab.  I am also loving the wide-legged crops.

  • AJ replied 1 year ago

Love all the matching colors!  On paper, it would seem too much, but I believe your friendly smile and white necklace-shoe bookends make it so spectacularly balanced.  It's just a head-to-toe radiance of fun sunshine!

It is so adorable how Sam looks at you!

I really enjoyed seeing your outfits last week.  Please post more.  : )

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Style Fan and AJ, your gracious words mean a lot to me. Thank you :)

  • Laurie replied 1 year ago

I am wearing the same sweater. Like, right now! (This is the one that surprised Lou, since I rarely wear brighter colors)

This hasn't been a great day, anxiety-wise, with Maryland abruptly going into shelter-in-place. But I segued from yoga gear to real clothes this morning for a personal video conference.

I now actually do feel more energized thanks to you!

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Waving at my sweater twin! And for me - better than yoga clothes.

  • Jules replied 1 year ago

I think you must brighten the day of everyone who sees you on your walks!

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Jules, what a NICE thing to say. Thank you for the kind compliments I see scattered on several of threads. *elbow bump*

  • Karie replied 1 year ago

I love it! So cheerful and vibrant.
Glad you are staying safe and healthy.

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

So lovely to see you chime in, Karie :)

  • taylor replied 1 year ago

HOW on earth did I miss  this ! That blue is magical on you!  Paired with the red ,  I am never going to recover ! STUNNING from head to toe!

  • Angie replied 1 year ago

Sweet Taylor, I gave you a comedy award because you made me laugh! But know that your words are therapeutic too. Thank you :)

  • Dana replied 1 year ago

Well I've only worn my twinsie sweater with white jeans and light blue jeans so far, but I love it with the red. I don't have much red in my wardrobe, but I've enjoyed red pants in the past...may have to put red pants on my radar!
