Lots of WIWs

Snapped some outfit pics when I remembered to do so! Lots of casual looks because that's what I remembered to photograph. Forgot to photograph the dressier ones ;)

Most of the items are old. A few new pieces.

#1 - Client and haircut day.

#2 - Spanx loungewear (I have 3 sets. AWESOME loungewear! I wear them to PT too. I have a bad shoulder). My "wind down for the day" look.

#3 - #5 - My Esprit hoodies, of which I have three, are very sentimental. The company is gone and it's sad :( - WFH day. '80s inspired.

#6 - #8 - Column of green and an accidental perfect match! Run around errand day (all on foot).

#9 - #11 - Client day. New '80s faux leather toffee jacket. LOVE!!! It's a workhorse and works with almost everything.

#12- #14 - Wearing my new short layered bob wavy. I have naturally very wavy hair. This is air-dried and finished off a little with a curling iron to even out the wave.

#14 - Client day. Did I say how much I LOVE my new '80s toffee jacket - which has delicious shoulder pads!

Wearing my hair straight more frequently at the moment because I prefer it. That said, I like the change! Fun to wear it wavy too.

Thanks for looking. xo

Oh I really like your hair wavy! I also especially like the big cuffed jeans and both leather jackets. (I hate shoulder pads for me because I have big square shoulders already, but they are cool on others.) I would not have guessed #2 was loungewear—it certainly looks like proper clothes.
    HI, JO!

  • Suz replied 2 months ago

    Wheeee! All the colours!!

Love your hair in waves -- that is so pretty. And your loungewear looks like other people's clothes. Yet beautifully relaxed and easy for around the loft. Nice!

You look fab in every outfit. But the new green "suit" is super fun!

Tell us about those new cream knee high boots! Or maybe you got them last year? My memory is failing me...but in any case, they look like a great find.

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Thank you, Cookie! I bet you'd look great with gentle shoulder pads. And you correctly identified Jo, who sends tailwags and kisses :)

Thank you, Suz! The new green "suit" is 18 months old, and the tall cream boots are two years old. The boots were in storage for 14 months during the remodel! Couldn't wear them. Bought them online and they are perfect ;) . Wish I had them in cognac. My tall whiskey Aquatalia boots are killing my feet. They will go :(

This is the treat I needed this morning - what a gorgeous sight for sore eyes! Everything is fantastic but the two gasp worthy pictures are you in the column of green and the back view of your hair in wavy mode. I am inspired to find my red sweater too (I am on the hunt!).

  • slim cat replied 2 months ago

    Gorgeous looks - can't pick a fav ( might be #8 and #10 ) ! Your hair looks fabulous - especially wavy look ( so jealous! ;-)  ).

  • Jenni NZ replied 2 months ago

Oh I like the column of green best- and your wavy hair. So sorry to hear about the tall Aquatalia boots.

  • Sal replied 2 months ago

Oh you look sensational - I love all versions of the hair!!  It's perfect on you.

These are all great but I especially love the two outfits with the toffee jacket.  That is such a good neutral on you - wow - love it.

And I am sad about the new tall boots - so annoying and sad.  I am editing out shoes due to some problems at the moment so I can relate.  It is so hard to know until you try them....

  • Debbie replied 2 months ago

I love the wavy hair. The loungewear looks great I will have to check that out.
You look fabulous in all your outfits.

  • Carla replied 2 months ago

What a treat that you’ve shared your casual looks!

  • Star (Lise) replied 2 months ago

Ooh thanks for sharing . Love both green outfits the most. I'm all for green lately and you wear it so well. I like the idea of tall stretch boots. Love your straight hair too, a bit edgy.

  • lyn67 replied 2 months ago

OMG, how fab your hair looks in these picties!!! I know you consider yourself a short hair girl, Angie- but please keep this length I consider it a crime to cut it shorter!

Then, your fab colorfull outfits! OMG, I really like you in these greens-love the COS dress especially! But somehow my favourite outfit is the one with the white puffer vest(3-5) because  we all know you are a dressy girl at heart and we seldom can catch a glimpse of your more casual street outfits.

Hope your shoulder heals soon and am sure you are the most cheerfull looking  lady at the  PT in your juicy lounge outfit!
Thanx for posting these! Always great to have visuals of your fab wiw!
---Hah, I still miss the good old times when you posted a whole blog (and the  great picties taken by Greg) of  your main wiw's in the past...---

  • Brooklyn replied 2 months ago

Outstanding! My faves are the column of green and the last outfit. The last outfit is such an unusual colour combination. I always admire your colour combination skills. You make it look so easy.

Love your pieced jeans too. I got a pair as well. Bit too warm for them now :(

  • Dee replied 2 months ago

Ouu.. what a wonderful smorgasbord of colour and style. Each outfit so carefully considered even if its just a casual denim combo and your wavy hair looks so pretty.

  • Sisi replied 2 months ago

Wow, what a feast. Special love for # 1, 5 (fabulous furry accessory), 6 and 9-11. Hair looks beautiful both ways.

  • RobinF replied 2 months ago

OH wow, awesome looks! Love the two-tone jeans, white boots are fab (do I need white boots??), leather jacket is wonderful.

Also hair is looking so good! Love it both straight and wavy.

  • LJP replied 2 months ago

I'll add my voice to the chorus of admiration.  My favourite is look is the last one - incredibly flattering and chic.  And I can't get over how much difference your haircut has made.  You look even more energetic and bright than usual !

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Thanks so much, everyone! I have a very busy day, and am working with a client for most of it. I'll be back to comment fully to your kind comments tonight or tomorrow :)

  • aloha emily replied 2 months ago

I LOVE the wavy bob!! It looks so chic and fresh!!! Also I love seeing your casual looks- they inspire me to keep up leveling my own casual style. Thank you!!!

  • JAileen replied 2 months ago

Great outfits, but your hair - so gorgeous!  I love it both ways.  My hair has become a little wavy, but not as much as yours.

  • Mary Beth (formerly LBD) replied 2 months ago

These looks are all soooo good!   And your hair is adorable!

Quick question... is there a portrait of you up in an attic somewhere?   I feel there must be.

  • Ket replied 2 months ago

Effervescent and sharp as ever! I love your new haircut. And I really love all of the variation of looks. I actually really loved having a blowout at my last appt. A very fun change from the usual curl.

  • Style Fan replied 2 months ago

Gorgeous outfits!  My favourite is the green column.  I also am a fan of shoulder pads.

  • replied 2 months ago

Angie how do you get bold text? I’m on mobile and can’t figure out how to do that here.

  • sabimct replied 2 months ago

I enjoyed these so much - thanks for sharing Angie!

You have truly inspired me with the 'column of colour.'  This is a new look for me and I love it.  Even my husband comments when I mange to pull this one off!

  • Suntiger replied 2 months ago

Love the light green especially, and yay to the wavy bob!

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Lots of love for the column of green! Fascinating! Good to know. It’s unusual to see it on me, so perhaps that’s why - Sabimct, Jaime, Jenni, Brooklyn and Style Fan :)

    Appreciate all the lovely compliments!

Thank you for the wavy hair and kind words Slim Cat, Jenni, Debbie, Suntiger, and Aloha Emily!

Star, JAileen, Ket, RobinF and Sisi, like my hair both ways too. Slightly more when it's straight so glad you mentioned that ;)

Robin F, of course you need white boots!!! Gorgeous with your silver hair.

Brooklyn, your jeans are fab! Have we seen them on you?

LJP, I'm with you! MUCH prefer my hair short for every reason. It's been a therapeutic change. Like you and Brooklyn, outfit #15 is my fave of this batch. High five!

Jenni, I'll post a thread about my brown boots saga separately. Hugs!

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Jaime and Dee, such generous words as always, and I'm blushing. You are sooo lovely!

RunCarla, coincidentally, it turned out that way ;)

Sal! My dark blonde toffee loving twin! Thanks for the jacket love and the all ways hair love. Makes me smile :) Sorry you're also having shoe challenges too. URGH! :(

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

Lyn67, I'm much enjoying my short layered bob! Rest assured, I'm keeping it like this for a while - and consider it short ;) Your therapeutic, amusing, and kind words make me happy. Thank you!!

Ket, appreciate the all round hair and outfit affection! You are sooo nice. Your blow out was fab :)

Mary Beth, you crack me up. We don't have an attic or a portrait! Thanks for the sweet words.

  • MsMaven replied 2 months ago

I too love, love, love your curly hair. And the outfit in #15 is so elegant!

  • Bijou replied 2 months ago

Your haircut is beautiful and whilst I love the wavy hair, I adore the sharpness and drama of the straight blow-out. Your outfits are gorgeous. Mary-Beth I love your reference to Dorian Grey!

  • Bonnie replied 2 months ago

Thank you so much for sharing these inspirational looks. Your hair is looking fab, too.

  • Irina replied 2 months ago

    Fabulous as always!
    Love your hair

  • Firecracker (Sharan) replied 2 months ago

What a feast for the eyes, Angie. Thanks for all these outfit photos. Of course I'm swooning over the column of green outfit (6-8), and I also especially love the toffee jacket on you. Your hair seems to work so well with that cut--the waves fall so nicely. It's fun that you can wear it straight, too.

  • Angie replied 2 months ago

MsMaven, the exuberant wavy hair affection made me smile! :)

    Thanks bonnie, and Irina

Bijou, appreciate the straight hair love! And now I get Mary Beth's portrait reference ;)

Sharan, such kind and thoughtful words, as always! Thanks so much. And feel lucky to have stumbled across that toffee jacket ;)
