Love it. That floral skirt is very cute!

  • Laura replied 12 years ago

Okay, even I, a total amateur pattern-mixer, could manage the striped look on the right. That's just my speed. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • sarah replied 12 years ago

    Delicious!

  • shipskitty replied 12 years ago

Interesting. I like the cream jacket version but can't seem to warm to the red jacket one. I wonder why?

  • Deborah replied 12 years ago

Inspiring! Do you think their window dressers were reading your pattern mixing post:)

  • qfbrenda replied 12 years ago

I love the one on the right.

  • Parsley replied 12 years ago

    How timely is that !?
I'm choosing to believe that you inspired them, Angie!

  • marianna replied 12 years ago

    Very interesting combos!

  • goldenpig replied 12 years ago

Makes my pattern mixing heart happy!

  • Suz replied 12 years ago

Hmmm, Angie, I think that window dresser has been reading your blog! :)

  • Mochi replied 12 years ago

Who would have thought that would work?!? It DOES!

  • Jjsloane replied 12 years ago

I am loving the colors here. And while I am afraid of the advanced pattern mixing myself, if I had the budget I'd buy the lot and proudly flaunt it!

  • cciele replied 12 years ago

I feel like a total window voyeur! Thanks Angie :)

But now I am bemoaning the fact that over 90% of my wardrobe is solid. Sigh...

  • rae replied 12 years ago

OOH! I have a b/w striped skirt similar to that one... now how to make that UWP...

  • HelenInCanada replied 12 years ago

Now THAT should pull shoppers out of the doldrums! How fun and unexpected - and inspiring. This also means I can make use of more of my print items daily...hee hee!

  • Inge replied 12 years ago

We sure are in for an amazing fashion season! Thanks for sharing all these inspiring pics with us today, Angie. I'm super eager to get experimenting after looking at them!

  • cjh replied 12 years ago

Yes, these patterns and mixes are great! I like the striped skirt and the whole back outfit. Thanks for showing us these new season glimpses.

  • Lisa replied 12 years ago

I am liking all pattern mixes with stripes. I think I can do that.

  • cobaltblue replied 12 years ago

    I love the striped one!

  • Aida replied 12 years ago

Both of those are fun, and I really really love the one on the right! Thanks for posting all these great window shop photos for us, it's been fun "shopping" with you :D

  • fauxpas replied 12 years ago

Okay, so of course I love the one on the left. Love, love, love the reds and do I see a faint gingham check blouse underneath? The petite print and the floral print are so great....shoes? Booties? Love both but number one is a "must try my version". Thanks for sharing such timely photos!

  • Kyle replied 12 years ago

Cute..not for me...but very, very cute and an accessible style for many women.

  • Joy replied 12 years ago

I love this! I could even see a remix done with switching the tops to wear with the other skirt. My summer wardrobe has more opportunities for pattern mixing because it has more patterns.
Do you think a patterned scarf with a patterned top and plain skirt or pants would be too much going on with the top?

  • taylor replied 12 years ago

    Ditto Kyle :)

  • Carole replied 12 years ago

How fun and well done. I really like the way stripes are being used lately.

  • Amy replied 12 years ago

    Those are very cute styles!

  • Jonesy replied 12 years ago

Both of these are wonderful! Angie, you are going to have some pattern mixing YLFers in no time :)!

  • modgrl replied 12 years ago

They've got to toss the beige jacket on the right, otherwise it is a great outfit! Thanks for posting all of these pix for us today.
