Fab Pilro Jeans: and WIW

These on trend cuffed wide leg Pilcro jeans are winners on a range of clients - and me :)  Curvier and straighter clients alike. The substantial denim glides over the contour of your body and fits your figure, IYKWIM. Not too wide. Versatile, forgiving, and very comfy. Pics taken in the Anthropologie dressing room.

They aren't that high rise - (although described as high rise) - because I'm short in the rise, and these work well. The cuffs are sewn in place, so they can't be hemmed easily. (I'm 5 ft 6). Perfect pant lengths with flat loafers. Try them if you're looking for similar!

When I don't want to wear white jeans, I kept reaching for faded blue Spring/Summer jeans - of which I only have one pair. (Passed on two pairs in January). Wardrobe hole. So I filled the hole with these. Happy!

My #OOTD (yesterday): Old items except for the gold loafers, which was another wardrobe hole I filled. Perfect match with a gold belt I already had. Wore the loafers out shopping with a client, and they went the distance. Sized down and added an insole.

Jo in a collar to match :)

It has been unseasonably cold here the last 6 weeks - hence I'm wearing jeans. Warming up soon though.  xo

The new jeans look great, Angie. Perfect length, with no alterations--score! I have an earlier version of those jeans that are cropped. I've had them several years and I feel they are still in style.
The pink jeans are super duper, and perfect for you in your bright pink.
Go Team Wear, with the new loafers!

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

Yay, Sharan! Fab to hear you validate the same jeans in a cropped length. I know you wear them with panache :)

Appreciate the kind compliments. Thank you!

SOOO windy in Seattle. Sam and Jo are doing their best not to blow away....

  • SarahD8 replied 6 months ago

You look great as usual but Jo is the true fashion plate. :-) That side-eye!

I am also wearing a pair of faded blue jeans on repeat in our extended cold spring. Looking forward to branching out when the warm weather arrives later this week!

  • Star replied 6 months ago

I especially love your gold loafers Angie.    So fab.  Jo looks so cute xx. We are having unseasonably hot weather.  It is usually only this hot and humid in Mid-July to August and now it has arrived at the beginning of June.  I am hoping August may be cooler than usual.  Eish, this weather :)

  • Mirjana replied 6 months ago

The new jeans look great, Angie. I also like the pink jeans, you wear pink color the best. Much love for the gold loafers.

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

    Thanks, everyone!

SarahD8, Jo is soooooo darling. Can barely stand it ;)  And CHEERS to better weather this week!

Star, I know, right? Absurd weather everywhere. It's hot on the East Coast of the US already too. And Mexico. Too soon! It's been cold on the West Coast. People are in puffers and beanies.....

Mirjana, you're a honey! I can see you in my gold loafers :)

  • Dee replied 6 months ago

Fab fitting jeans, love your pink/gold outfit too. I see that you’re wearing clear eyeglass frames, they look terrific.
We’re having a heatwave where I am, too hot for jeans here.

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

Dee, thank you! YES! I have clear pink specs too. I'm wearing them more. It's a good prescription. And to my point - unseasonably hot on the East Coast. Hang in there! We are cold, here on the West Coast.....but not for long ;)

  • Bonnie replied 6 months ago

Love seeing what you are wearing and this outfit is another winner. Hot pink and gold never looked better together. Your hair is looking fab, too.

  • Suz replied 6 months ago

Ooh, I love the juxtaposition of the feminine blouse with the more RATE wash of the jeans. they look amazing on you! Is the denim lightweight or heavier weight, would you say? Not considering for myself because of length issues but thought it might be useful info for others.

I love the pink and gold outfit also, and Jo's collar!

I meant to add, that I also wear the light wash jeans in summer. Constantly. When not wearing the white or ecru. Wearing my light wash crops right now!

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

bonnie, you're a honey too! Appreciate your always kind and supportive words. Thank you! Waving at my bobbed style sister :)

Suz, thank you, and good question! These are medium weight - not lightweight. They drape REALLY well because of the substantial heft in the fabric.

The slimmer Scotty by Pilcro is lighter in wash and weight, and therefore might be of interest to you and others:

High fiving your Summer jeans style because it works in the PNW of the US ;)

  • kkards replied 6 months ago

Well now matching Jo to your outfit is just the ultimate!

And wow those jeans!  So good!   The color, the cuff and the length are great.  And like they were just waiting for you to find them!

  • Sal replied 6 months ago

Great WIW and new jeans that suit you so well.

And yes Jo is quite the fashionista - she has a knowing look - as if she is aware how good she looks...

  • Jaime replied 6 months ago

Everything looks just right on you Angie. And these colors looks so joyful on you (and Jo!). Is there a coffee shop across from your building? Because I would be delighted to sit there every morning just to see you emerge with Sam and Jo.

  • slim cat replied 6 months ago

It looks wonderful all together - love the gold belt and shoes ( your perfect metal ;-) )!
    Jo is precious!
I wish I've had some of the Seattle' cooler weather - the CA heat is a too much too soon for my liking.

  • rachylou replied 6 months ago

    Jazzy! :D

  • RobinF replied 6 months ago

Finally warming up here in Michigan - and I love it!

Those shoes are gorgeous! Fun jeans, I like the faded wash. Looks great with the pink and gold.

  • Janet replied 6 months ago

They are super cute on you! And Jo is adorable!

I’ve been keeping an eye out for a darker wash wide leg jean (not super dark, but just not so faded — with two pairs of lighter/distressed wash, I’ve got that ground covered). I thought I had found them in a pair of Mother jeans, but when I wore them, the front buckles up in a weird way that makes me look like I have more of a stomach pooch than actually exists. That’s one of my big issues with all the high waists currently available. 12”+ rises are too high for me unless they fit absolutely perfectly and don’t have too much stretch so they bag out in the tummy. Where are all the mid rises we were promised?? 12” is not a mid rise.

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

Thanks, everyone! Jo is wagging her tail in delight.

kkards, I'm blushing at your sweet words :)

Sal, Jo lacks nothing in the self-esteem department ;)

Jaime, what a sweet thing to say. WOW! Come on over. Lots of fun tea and coffee places in our neighbourhood ;)

Slim Cat, sending our chilly weather your way, and kisses from precious Jo!

Rachy and RobinF, appreciate the compliments!

Janet, I'm with you! 12 inch front rises on jeans are a tad high. On soft roomier pants, it's fine though - but denim is different.

Mid and low rises are coming through. Just not as fast as some would like. Soon!

  • ChristelJ replied 6 months ago

Such fun jeans, I've never seen full length wide legs with a wide cuff like that, just love them on you! Your pretty top and gold shoes and belt are perfect counterpoints. Lovely happy pink items too. I'm envious because it's already too hot to wear full length jeans where I am.

  • Runcarla replied 6 months ago

I needed this injection of fashion fabulousness and fun!  Thanks for sharing your outfit.

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

ChristalJ and Carla, your gracious words are soothing! Thanks for chiming in. Hang in there with the heatwave!

  • JAileen replied 6 months ago

The jeans look better on you than the model!  And all the pink!  And Jo! ❤️

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

Thanks, sweet JAileen! Jo and I are smiling :)

  • Suntiger replied 6 months ago

Love the pink and gold outfit especially! Hope it warms up soon for you :)

  • Brooklyn replied 6 months ago

Lovely. Those jeans are just perfect. Nice wash, length, cuff. And the gold shoes! I hope Jo has a gold collar too!

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

Thanks, Suntiger! It's warmed up, thankfully.

Brooklyn, thank you! Go Team Full Length Bottoms :)  Jo sends kisses to you and Siena, and NEEDS a gold collar to match my shoes!

  • Cee replied 6 months ago

Cuteness overload again, Angie and Jo :D

  • Angie replied 6 months ago

Thanks, Cee! Lovely to see you chime in :)

  • Cee replied 5 months ago

It's quite apparent why you do what you do :D

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

    Cee, thank you :)

  • April replied 5 months ago

Dang, I love those jeans but "not high in the rise" is the kiss of death for me.

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

My dear, April. Not TOO high in the rise! They will probably work for you. I can measure the rises on mine if you like :)

  • Karie replied 5 months ago

Both jeans look fantastic, but Jo steals the show!

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Karie, I cannot compete with Jo ;)

  • Cee replied 5 months ago

    Prima donna doggies :D

  • April replied 5 months ago

Thanks, Angie, but no need. I can see them on you and know that there's no way the rise would work on my absurdly proportioned torso.

Now, YLF, I know my proportions are what they are and there's nothing "wrong" with them; they just make certain items rather hard to fit.

  • Carol replied 5 months ago

Angie, does Elvis know you stole his shoes? Seriously. I love those. I would wear them like you do, or like I think you do. Which is: bowling, to the store, to a pot luck, etc. Anywhere.

The jeans are cute. I had some like it, which I had to get rid of, due to stretching. Maybe it's time to spring for a new pair.

  • Angie replied 5 months ago

Cee, my favourite little doggies ;)

April, you know your body best!

Carol, I inspired Elvis ;) - please get the same shoes and wear them everywhere too!

  • aloha emily replied 5 months ago

Sweet Jo!!! And your looks are amazing. Loving the hair, and your colors and silhouette are always inspiring!

  • BlueJay replied 5 months ago

Fabulous jeans, Angie! I love your gold shoes and with the trench, fabulous!

    Hi sweet Jo!

  • Janet replied 5 months ago

April, you and I could split the difference in rises! I’m absurdly short in the torso and rise — literally all my height is in my legs. It’s not as fun as it may sound, LOL.
I need a booster seat everywhere I go, haha!

  • Debbie replied 5 months ago

I li be e the jeans! Absolutely spectacular! I would need petites but need to try them.

    Thanks, sweet Blue Jay :)

    Janet, you crack me up.

Debbie, I think they come in a petite!
