Beach and Pool Capsule Pics!

Big update and refresh was in order for an upcoming trip to Greece, and a couple of pool vacations. I'm set and can forget about this capsule for a good long while!

Everything is new apart from the old white shorts, packable straw hat, and beach bag. A solid beach tote would be visually better. But I adore my old polka dot darling and didn't want another! 

I need to get used to the pool slides! They are chunky, and I bat for Team Dainty Shoes. But super comfy and practical. My feet don't like flip flops. They were the right decision. 

New iconic classic round RayBans have prescription lenses. Thrilled! Already workhorses. In fact, I'm thrilled with everything. Lots of mixing and matching. Lots of colour. Very comfy. Coverage and support in the right places :)

This time, I have beachy waves to go with the capsule....

    Wowza! Your beach capsule is a colourful delight, love the nod to the colours of Greece in your striped cover-up and hey, those old white shorts look fantastic too.

    Fab! I love it all except perhaps the slides since I bat for the same team as you. I can cope with flip flops ( jandals!) though, however did not bring them here to Canada. I used my olive sandals on the first hot tub visit at Whistler but didn’t like how wet they got- second visit within the next hotel was bare feet! Luckily no-one much up at that time in the lift coming back 7.20 am!
    I love your bright colours and would happily wear your swimsuits- although are you worried about the strapless one ever falling down? I don’t think I’ve ever worn a strapless swimsuit…

    Thanks, Jenni! I know right? We need to get used to chunky shoes for our style. (You are brave to go bare-feet! Have a beautiful trip. Waving from Seattle!)

    Not too worried about the bandeau falling down. It's got grippy bits that help it stay put. I don't move much in it either. AND it comes with a strap for just in case :)

    Thanks for waving! Enjoyed the one night in Whistler and one in Vancouver. Am in Saskatoon now, the Haldi (turmeric) ceremony is tomorrow. I will post a thread at that point. Today we are decorating, here is part of what we are doing.

    This is so perfect . I LOVE the striped JCrew shirt, and , I think the polka dot bag actually works really well to keep it all looking modern and not too catalogue / matchy . You’re pretty lucky Angie - not many women look this good in a swimsuit ;)

    My upcoming birthday gift is a new swimsuit and luxe towel but I have no idea yet what is out there . I usually stick to black for camouflage , haha. So depressing after seeing your gorgeous capsule . Hope I’m not too late for this season !

    Wow, love the colors, and the matchy-matchiness here, all suits your persona so very well! I'm sure You'll be most glamorous lady on the greek beaches-especially love the long linen shirt and sarong pants-they are cut/sewn like  true pants + a kind of wrap on front, or are they true wrap pants?

    Well, the turquoise and lime combo is especially stunning, though everything is so well thought out and pretty. And I like what Lisa said about the tote adding an element that works but is not too matchy. You are ready to shine as brightly as the Grecian sun. How fun.

    You look super glam in these ensembles, Angie! Movie star on the set! I love the retro patterns, the pool-like colours, the lovely mix and matchy matchy combos! FAB specs, GORGEOUS beachy hair, and cute pups, too! I hope they get a doggie popsicle.

    LJP, that’s high praise, thank you! I like the pattern mix too. Unique and sustainable, at least! Not too late to give yourself a fab swimwear birthday present. FWIW, I vote go for patterns. In my experience they provide better “camouflage” than a solid.

    Oh my, how great a capsule, and how brilliantly you rock it! So cohesive and happy, and good lord, you look amazing in your swimsuits! Bleu by Rod Beattie does really great suits. I had luck with them in the past. How lucky are you and I that we both found great swimsuits this year? I was so overdue for a refresh and I only realized it after reviewing before a trip — I’m thankful I did it then because my choices were mostly in stock then, and are surely much lower now. High five to pre-planning!

    I actually like the pattern mix with your polka dot bag. I may be due for a new straw/raffia beach tote myself, as mine is starting to stretch at the handle, but I’m super picky about them (must have a lining and zip closed, must not be scratchy and snag on clothing, etc). Hoping to get another season out of mine.

    I just purchased a bikini set from Bleu By Rod Beattie, but haven't received it yet.  They don't have 34DDD, so I went with 36DD, crossing my fingers it will fit.

    What a snazzy capsule! I love the details. I have a similar tropical print bikini top, that I pair with black boy short bottoms.  I just bought my first cover-up, which is ten times blander than yours, but still functional.
